'What do you do as a bodybuilder when your legs fall off, compared to the upper body a little? You ask someone who knows a lot about leg training.'

The video is done in a gym, there's demonstration, it's not a couch interview.
Very interesting, lots of info.

Quality interview. Watching at work
''There’s this battle over waterboarding at places like Guantanamo Bay. I think that they should just say, “Hey, if you guys don’t talk, you have to see Hercules In New York.” I guarantee those guys would talk much faster. You don’t need to do waterboarding or anything else. That’s the ultimate threat.''

I like the sock tip. Maybe thats why i prefer squatting in pants rather than shorts, i feel stockier and more powerful. And how ****in awesome would it be to get coached by Tom. Hes awesome and really motivated without cliches and sickly ****, he justs gets deep inside whatever is hes talking about. Really makes you want to go and squat.
What about the hacks anyone gonns try that movement?

Isn't hacking on your toes a bit...controversial?
Went searching about platz trainning videos and i found something curious.
Heres lee making fun of branch,
Heres platz trainning with lee
I see similarities between the last mocking reps of lee and all the reps of platz on the pulldown.Last edited by Unbiasedfan; 06-24-2014 at 11:37 AM.

^ As far as I can tell almost every bodybuilder will contradict himself eventually. Very few have stuck by one mindset their entire career.
Take Evan, came out and trashed Gurus, 1 year later...better get me a guru.
It doesn't really make them hypocritical imo but rather that they truly believe at that time what they're doing is the only way to do it.

this. everyone learns new things and change their perception/opinions on things as they go along. I used to train for like 2 hours and though training for any less would make me any gains. I've learned though that training faster (45-60 minutes max) produces much better results due to the intensity it demands.

This is one great find. Its good to hear QUALITY information instead of how much gear a guy is taking. These are basic tips that I never new. Will watch this tomorow before legs. These old timers will not be here forever and I wish there were more videos like this. It seams its all about steroids, test, insulin etc. now. All that is meaningless to me. This stuff Tom P. is saying I can really use. Thanks for posting this Roro.
I see your 18. Im glad some young guys are listening to this stuff. You give me hope.

Another way to look at it is that he takes the piss out of branch because he uses to heavy a weight which requires him to rock and jerk and has also got injured doing it. Platz is known for doing unconventional movements, maybe that pulldown/high row was one of them, thus not deserving of being mocked. I know this is analysing something that doesnt really matter but its just a thought.

Great post, Tom is always inspirational and gets you so very excited about bodybuilding, squatting and life in general. He's an awesome motivator. I can't wait to hit that squat rack!
"I was laying in bed one night and I thought ‘I’ll just quit — to hell with it.’ And another little voice inside me said ‘Don’t quit — save that tiny little ember of spark.’ And never give them that spark because as long as you have that spark, you can start the greatest fire again.”
