Any recent feedback on this stuff? Im a creature of habit and decided to keep whey on hand as its what Ive always used. Likely switching away from ON to either MT Platinum Whey or BioX Whey. Still torn right this minute. But Im looking to jump into the world of Blends to keep on hand as well after reading that its superior. Im leaning towards MusclePharm Combat Powder. Im waiting on a sample to arrive. But was just wondering how people who have used it would rate it? Does it taste good? Mix well? Seem to work in fueling your protein needs as good as other blends? Ive never had a time release powder, so this is new stuff for me. Thanks.

Tons of store reviews Im sure. If you decide to go with Platinum Whey I highly recommend Vanilla Cake or Cookies and Cream my two favorite flavors right now. Don't get me wrong all the other flavors are just as good but we all have our favorites.

Between the wheys mentioned in the OP, BioX Chocolate Peanut Swirl is my favorite.
Some of my favorites:
XF UP 2.0 - more of a meal replacement
PES Select
BPI Whey-HD
Cellucor Cor-Whey
BSN Syntha 6 - more of a meal replacement
Cutler Nutrition Total Protein
Muscletech Phase 8Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

I had a thread here about MusclePharm Combat Powder Chocolate Milk taste, but that seems deleted... Didn't get any notification, warns or what was wrong in my thread that was deleted.. I'll reply my opinion one more time here...
It mixes well, but the taste is not good at all.. I mean, really. I have tried only Chocolate Milk (can't say anything about other tastes) and it's too sweet.. I've shaked the tube as been adviced, added milk.. didn't help. I'll try to mix it with homemade gainer, and see if the taste will be different... (as I can't sell it to anyone and its pricey).
P.S. Would be very glad to find out the reason of why my thread have been deleted. I'm not spamming, and I do respect this forum. I think this should be a place where everyone can say their opinion, even the negative ones..

I definitely get a cake taste to it, the name is pretty accurate.
Not alone man, from my experience though coffee flavoured proteins don't seem that popular I will say whichever protein/brand you get consider mixing it with some coffee to get a cappuccino type flavour.Official MuscleTech Representative

Ive mixed coffee to a Vanilla PhD Pharma Whey when I was living in England. That was pretty good. I haven't tried any wheys that come already coffee flavored. But as Im addicted to coffee, as well as coffee ice cream, I cant help but to think a coffee whey would be my fav. But most of the brands I wanna try don't have coffee flavors.
The Vanilla Cake Platinum Whey I am a bit leery of since im not a fan of actual vanilla cake. May have to go with Choc PB Cup since Reeses PB Cups are my fav candy of all time. I don't eat candy anymore though. Another poster pointed out the Quest PB Cups which I am keen to try.

Iv'e tried the chocolate flavor - Very thin (for a blend) - lacked chocolate flavor in my mind.
Cookies and cream for the value at Costco made it worth while for me (Being in Canada) However i found it super sweet and just keep it on rotation. (Taking forever to finish it).
I am sure you can find better options.

I don't believe Combat Powder is a balanced protein blend. IMO, it's 99% whey protein with an insignificant amount of the other proteins sprinkled in there.
Try mixing 2 scoops in 8 ounces of water and you'll see what I mean. It's super watery thin, and it wouldn't be like that if there was any decent amount of casein in there.

Between Phase 8 and Combat, Phase 8 all day; the Peanut Butter Chocolate is great, all of the flavors are but that one stands out for sure.

A quick way to gauge the components of this prop blend is to look at the amount of cholesterol. High quality whey concentrates, whey isolates, egg white proteins and micellar casein have low amounts of cholesterol. The amount of cholesterol per serving would lead me to believe that this is mostly cheaper whey concentrate + its got some free form aminos (make that what you may from it). IMO, look for other options.
