Question 30 day Juice now what?

    Hey Guys,

Just got done doing a 30 day juice cleanse, and let me tell you is was f*cking tough. But......I did it. I was 232 when I started, I wanted to slim down before hitting the gym hard. I am now 217 which is 15lbs in a month. I want to lose another 17lbs and hit 200 but im thinking of doing it the conventional way, meaning watching macros and lots of cardio. Question I have is any other suggestions of losing weight? I mean im going to watch what I eat pretty perfect, im thinking of doing some beach running? Biking? seems like these 17lbs to come off are being stubborn.

    thanks

The best thing I can say, is that if you did a juice cleanse the previous 30 days and dropped 15 lbs, you are going to gain at minimum 5 lbs back in just water weight/glycogen replenishment.

Similar to keto/atkins diets when you have the bounce back. Once you re-introduce carbs back into your diet, you will gain scale weight (not fat) via water weight/glycogen.

So, if you are aiming for 200 on the scale, its going to take more than dropping 17 lbs. So don't get discouraged when you get on it in a few days and you have gained weight.

Just count your calories and stay under maintenance, there's no need to so hours and hours of cardio a week unless you enjoy it or want to eat more food.

Concentrate on getting you diet in check, it will be the best thing for long term success.

Stubborn fat is usually the last to go. You don't really start experiencing stubborn fat till you're closing in on single digit body fat %.
With those stats, you should easily be losing on 2500.
I'm 99.9% sure you aren't counting your calories correctly.
