Whey HD Chocolate Mixing Like Crap

It can't just be me but the chocolate mixes terribly (2 servings in 1 bottle). I get chunks forming up and nondissolved powder gets covered within the chunks, especially right underneath the lid to open my shaker bottle. I've tried using several shaker bottles, from ON, SAN, and your BB.com bottles. No luck. Had no mixing/dissolving issues with vanilla. The chocolate is delicious (irrelevant to quality ) but the mixing will prevent me from getting this same flavor again in the future.

Does your cup have a blender ball or agitator of some sort in it? I found with the milk and cookies I didn't need the agitator as it mixed well without, however with the vanilla caramel I need the agitator as it doesn't mix near as well and have clumps otherwise. Haven't got around to my chocolate cookie flavor yet.

usually results in a watered down taste - i myself would prefer most shakes to at least 8-10oz whereas 6 is like a protein shot =\

I agree but also depends on what you are mixing it in too and how many scoops you are using. Not sure if OP is using milk, almond milk or water or something else.

I usually put the powder in first. Put the water on top. Next I flip the bottle upside down to get all the powder off the bottom, then shake. It's helped keep me from having unmixed proteins on the bottom and helped with chunks.

Without a blender it´s almost impossible to mix!

No thanks Jeff. The whole point (one of them) of whey protein is convenience. If I have to use a blender, then I'll just get another protein that mixes well.

I use water by the way. I can't afford the carbs that are on milk. On that ketogenic/atkins diet.

OP, I haven't heard about many issues with Whey-HD's mixture. If your using a ball or screen take it out. I mixed up a shake earlier with a half and half combo and it was fine. Keep me posted if this contunues.

I had no problems with Chocolate Cookie or Banana Marshmallow Pie mixing both in just a standard shaker cup.

I believe you meant to type "you're", as opposed to "your". But anyway, I don't use those balls or screens. 2 servings (which amount to almost 3 scoops) is a ****h to mix. I use water and I fill it to 16 oz. I go any higher than that, then the powder will spill. No issues with vanilla at all, like I said earlier, but choco is a *****.

This. I've went through 2 tubs of Chocolate Cookie and about 7 total tubs of different Whey-HD flavors. Never had this problem with Whey-HD when mixing 2 scoops, or even 1.

I've had this problem with other thicker proteins though.
Try this:
Fill with half the liquid.
Add 2 scoops.
Put in the other half of the liquid.
Stir with spoon for 15-30 seconds.
Put cap on and shake.
No sticking to the top.

Works 100% of the time.

I'm typing from my phone, which is no excuse. Sounds like you need a bigger shaker cup. Try mixing a single scoop with 8 ounces of water a report back?

Single scoop wouldn't amount to 24g of protein. I weighed it. On another note, only girls drink 1 serving or scoop at a time.

I've mixed two scoops in a shaker cup with 16oz of water several times and never had an issue.

OP, ill gladly trade you srs. Choc cookie is my absolute favorite whey hd flavor.

Im curious to see if its the powder or your shaking skills. Try 1 scoop, find a girl make her drink it and watch her smile

Yes. The ON one is like 25 oz and it still clumps, not as badly though. I may have to find 30 oz shaker. That may be the only solution.

Had this same issue with two servings of PES Select's snickerdoo and cookies and milk, though Whey HD chocolate is worse.

Also, shaking skills are well. I even use a two hand job. In before inappropriate comments.

The GMS could be causing the mixture issue, a lager shaker will solve your problem

With my last purchase from BB, I got a sample of the Whey HD double chocolate. Not impressed. Tasted like sh*t and didn't mix well at all. I have a Blender Ball, never really have problems mixing any of the Dymatize or ON products.

Yes, forgive me. Chocolate Cookie* I also got a sample of the ON Double Chocolate Chunk. That's what I got confused on.

I also got a sample of the BCAA Passion Fruit. I enjoyed that. Mixed well, tasted great.
