HIIT and weight lifting the same day?

Hey guys, so i'm planning to to focus on cutting for the time being. However i plan to start the Insanity program, i'm not sure if any of you guys have heard of it. So the plan is to do Insanity in the morning, and then weight lifting in the morning. Or the other way around. Would that be a good plan?

A good plan would be to get on a structured resistance training program focused on compound lifts and using a straightforward method of progressive overload combined with monitoring/tracking your calorie and macronutrient intake to make sure you're in a caloric deficit.

Add in cardio based on the need to increase energy output when necessary.

I would say you have to keep them apart at least 8 hours to let your body recover a bit, however HIIT and weight training is a bit to much for your body on a daily basis, I would say stick to HIIT 2 days a week and then weight training 4 times a week, do each on separate days and you will be fine. If you want to burn more calories just stick to steady pace cardio wich might not be as efficient but its easier for your body to handle.
