Sometimes I think the same older women who complain that men want younger women were, when in their 20's and 30's, the younger women.
Now, these women in their 50's and 60's realize the older men are no fun.
Sure, it's great when the woman is about 35 and he's 45. He'll take you to nice restaurants, PDA's, and should still be able to perform in bed.
But when you're a 62 year-old female, going to yoga class 3xwk and wanting sex as often, you'll be taking your older hubby to the doctor 3xwk for his eyes, ears, and leaky heart valve. And he probably does not want sex nearly as much as you do. In fact you're probably trapped in a sexless marriage.
But I don't feel bad for these women. They set the precedent when they were younger.

I think the point is that when a younger woman marries an older man, she enjoys the financial benefits being with someone established. But then the man get too old to have sex, and you end up being fit and energetic, and without sex.
But what about men who leave their wives for a younger women? Then the new wife wants kids too, and you end up paying for the new set of kids, and doing everything again!
In any case, just stay married and hope that you'll get sex at least sometimes.

I am homeless (again!), no assets, all went to two ex wives but believe it or not, I am looking for exactly this. I only have one kid and I am seriously thinking about having another go at it. Now, about sexless marriage, my recent ex was 10 year younger, beauty queen who never had a "hard on". Basically this just shows that age is not the main factor. And then, ladies gravitating towards older men is the natural low of attraction, which is basically nothing more than nature's way to improve offspring. Fertility of a women taper off sharply after about age of 35, while men can do well in their 60's and older.
Also, about financial side of a deal, I think most ladies are not this pragmatic, seems to me the majority are looking for a "prime breeder" type, and true love and connection. Or, just a good fokk.

Will do
Aww thank you.
You know I joke a lot on here, but real talk, 32 years with my wife and never cheated on her ever.
And if you ever saw my wife and I together you will see how, after all these years we are very much in love and aside from the fact that she is my wife, she is also my best friend, there is absolutely nothing we hide from each other. On the list for Bannukah

EXACTLY! You get it. And at your age, 41, you now understand. An older man is no longer as attractive like he might have been when you were, say 31. In fact, a 28 year-old man is probably ideal for you if you don't mind dinner at Applebees instead of a nicer restaurant.
At 43 I find it interesting that I can meet women my age, 10 years younger, or 10 years older. But many(NOT ALL!) single women my age tell me they are pretty much are stuck with older guys. Most men in their 40's are looking younger and these 40 year-old women feel left out or like they're settling for some older guy.

I don't know if you're talking to me, but NO I don't want any 28- year old, and I've never even been to Applebee's, nor would I want to go to Applebee's, or be with anyone who'd take me there.
I'd rather be with my husband of 17 years no matter how old he is.
He has much more energy than I do anyways.

it's no big deal ya know..but ya husband was on it few years back
holy crud he was older than me too ..but only by two years
I dunno this whole cougar thing seems to be catching on..kinda creeps me out since my son is in his twenties
so what you are saying is
single men in 40's date down ( in age)
single women in 40's date up?
... and that is all fine and dandy for an older guy and younger girl to date
but they shouldnt marry cause she will be the one who ends up pushing him around in his wheel chair?Last edited by latebloomingmom; 06-13-2014 at 03:00 PM.
