U wot m8. How did you get hundreds of mills pre-patch. I always hovered around 20-30 mil and then upgraded 2 or 3 gems to go back down to 9 mil.

edit ^ easily p400 with the new patch or just use rift it forwards to boost you. 3-4 RoF-s and lvlup.

How hard is it to get M6 for DH?

Any DH brah's out there who could give some build advice for when I hit 70? I've been pretty much just using my same spec to level.

Before you actually get marauder set you're gonna want to use the good old cluster arrow build. You'll want to get two good one handed crossbows but make sure you keep a good 2 handed crossbow if you get one, for when you get marauder set. With the legendary drop rate these days it shouldn't be too hard to gear yourself for T1-T3 from the start.

The first items you want to get though so it makes things easier, is Aughild's bracers and helmet/shoulders. They give a pretty good set bonus and getting the plan isn't that hard. You should gamble for chest pieces from Kadala since you can get either a marauder chest piece or a cinder coat, which would make your cluster arrow set pretty good. You should also gamble for gloves. You will need magefist gloves and/or marauder gloves.

Make sure you also try to get RRoG ring because it will come in handy with any set you decide to use.

There's a lot of info that I can give but feel free to add my gamertag if you need any more help/ carries. I'm not on as much as I used to be but my gamer tag is papi89 #1919

Played at release for about 3-4 months and haven't touched D3 since yesterday. Bought ROS and rolled up a brand new Crusader.

First took me a while to figure out that there was no Normal / Nightmare / Hell / Inferno anymore. I remember in Vanilla getting burned out as fuk after hitting the first massive gear check in Inferno A2, and how difficult it was to survive.

I had a 60 Barb and DH - both of whom could barely take a hit. Even with a full on tank / armor / resist / LOH set from the AH, the Barb was barely able to limp through A2, and of course getting hit even 3-4 times was lethal. The DH was even more squishy. Won't even get into the "unbeatable" prefix combinations for both (Reflect being just the *best*).

It's pretty awesome having loot drop with a huge priority for useful stats on it, and the legendaries don't hurt either. The Crusader is like 22 and I've already had 2 useful legendary drops. It does make me wonder however how you're supposed to gear companions who have main stats besides the ones for your char without using a different character (IE: Enchantress on a Str char).

Regardless, the game felt a lot more fun - particularly because I didn't feel like a gimpy glass cannon. I ran some A1 on my 60 DH and could immediately tell the difference. Moreso when one Butcher run yielded like 5 upgrades that doubled my Vit and probably got me an extra 50% damage. Suddenly getting hit isn't immediate death a-la Vanilla Inferno.

Very interested to get the Crusader up. Pretty cool how they have him a lot of the old Paladin skills. The horse is probably the most hilarious.

What is Wiz like at max and are they fun? Been thinking of trying one now that it (hopefully) isn't just endless Diamond Skin spam to stay alive.

Replace Helltooth shoulders + your bracers for Aughilds. (Elite dam reduc and damage)

Replace zuni mojo for Thing of the Deep (pick up radius) or Serpent (25-30?% damage reduc)

Replace zuni ring for Physical SoJ or Tall Mans Finger if you can find it.

Get lucky and replace your ammy with a legendary one with an immunity.

Spend all your future shards on Tasker and Theo (gloves). Hope for trifecta.

Replace belt for either: 1) The one with +100% damage on chest open 2) Witching hour 3) The other one that offers attack speed/elite damage.

I use BT chest, pants and belt w/ Ice climbers, and most of what I said above apart from the ammy and T5/6 is a walk. Dat immunity.

It does make me wonder however how you're supposed to gear companions who have main stats besides the ones for your char without using a different character (IE: Enchantress on a Str char).

Looks like you left before patch 1.03, before they nerf inferno Act 2. and 1st IAS nerf.

For followers:
- you can enchant gears now, if most of your loots are STR due to Crusader, you can change one stat from the gear let's say the STR to INT by going to the Mystic.
- or if you started playing bounties and rifts, you will get Blood Shard (account wide) that you can use to gamble for gear pcs. You can use your other INT char to gamble for INT pieces that your follower can use.

I assume you haven't encounter Paragon level on your characters as you dont have any lvl70 yet. Once your char reach lvl70, it will continue to gain experience and level but it will be for the paragon level. Each level gives you corresponding points that you can use to increase your stats.

Just play through it and you'll see all the new ones. Also join the Misc clan so you can ask them ingame.

I'm not in the guild but how it works is, you have to search for the guild/clan name in-game and request invite.

No release date, snapshot still works in live environment. PTR it doesn't work. I wouldn't keep building around it though (i.e., farming Act 3 caches for that dagger with IAS).

BTW Ancients in PTR are still decent - much more active than now. They also don't hit some random skeleton off to the side as much while you're fighting the Skeleton King, or do that "stare into the Northern sky" thing anymore.

Gonna see eventually if Rimeheart can be triggered by Furious Charge now that it has a freeze rune. If it does, maybe IceCharge barb is the way to go.

Only time I see diamond skin now is for people who want to powerlevel a wizard.

There's a good firebuild which will get better (based on Wand of Woh, Mirrorball, and using Magic missile, and Firebird set is now getting a Fire focus), a good lightning build that requires 3 insanely rare items to pull off (Shard of Hate, Mykken's ball, Velvet Camaral) and many variants related to being in Archon mode a lot. IMHO keep going on Crusader, Wizard is the least viable class in D3 right now.

-if you guys find yourselves getting bored of SC, I HIGHLY suggest trying hardcore. It breathes new life into the game and its honestly the best way to play it IN MY OPINION. It is so much fun, every near death gets your heart racing. Of course if you prefer SC their is nothing wrong with that but I suggest every diablo player, whether old or new, tries hardcore at least once. Lots of people actually end up converting to hardcore once they do.

I would definitely play hardcore if there were no lag spikes. I just hate knowing that a lag spike can happen at anytime, and I'll die knowing it was out of my control.
