Rift it Forward.

A guy runs a rift, say T6.

He gets to the Guardian (end boss). Invites a bunch of scrubs to his game to collect boss loot, but one of the scrubs has to reopen the rift for him. He gets endless Rifts, the scrubs get endless boss loot, including shards to gamble set pieces and legs.

well they nerfed life per fury spent on barbs back down again "Bloodthirst : Healing from each point of Fury spent reduced to 966 Life (down from 3095). Heal amount is increased by 1% of your Health Globe Healing Bonus (down from 4%)"

FML just when barb buffs look promising they put it right back down into the fuking ground again.

At first I was like... damn, my Pride of Cassius is useless now but that's a great buff. Now I'm like, oh well, same old build (High CDR, Cassius, Ignore Pain). Only thing that changes with 2.1 : Swap out EQ gear for Raekor Gear in GR.

Every indication on the PTR is that Barbs are fine.

Monks are the ones who need serious investigation. Though the Rimehart change is interesting (10,000% weapon damage as cold to frozen enemies)

That's the problem - GRift progression is only a partial indication. Were monks fine when they could clear GRift 100? No, they were broken and relying on broken mechanics like using cold weapon damage on a holy skill with frost burns and exploding palm / rimeheart.

Barb gets into GR 41 because it can be played like a broken monk. It can avoid damage very well and crowd control very well. The builds all use Furious Charge, which, by the way, has been given the dashing strike animation (like a monk!). There is nothing to be said for actually playing the melee play style - sitting in the thick of things and bashing. You can't do that above T4, really. T5 is possible, but at T6 to do that you have to run so much resist that your damage and CDR suffer.

So Barbs are "fine" in one measure (GR), which is quantitative. Qualitatively, they're not "barbs". Sometimes it's not about stats.

Fair enough. I think Blizzard and I feel the same way about the "standing in one place hitting stuff with a big club" builds -- they get boring very quickly.

I see what they're trying to do with the class but obv. they are failing because people aren't liking it.

how good is your gear considered? holy fukballs at some of your gear. is that new tier stuff? remember i havent played the expansion yet.
