**Official PC rig Pics/Specs/mods thread PART III** Mirin' Aesthetics?

My PC won't boot anymore with my GPU plugged in (works fine when running with integrated graphics). I also tried using a different PCI slot and it still doesn't work. All it does when I try to boot it is turn the GPU fan on at full power. Any ideas?

Update: I cleared CMOS and got it to boot up finally...then 10 seconds later it started spewing flames (srs)

Nothing with a ton of shelves or anything, something more minimal with decent space.
Looking for something around 5' wide. Also, not really looking for a cornered or L-shaped desk

Installed my xeon in place of my i5. Now Intel XTU won't run (nor install after being uninstalled). Any other programs that will force it to run at max turbo?

It has 5 mounting points. 1 in rear, 1 in front, 1 on side, and 2 on top

One fan to pull the warm PSU air out in the back. One intake on the front and one more intake anywhere else, perhaps nearest the CPU. This should create a mildly positive pressure inside keeping dust from seeping in and deliver fresh cool air to the processor.

office max and staples usually have some decent ones

Why the Z87 over z97? Also, you didn't include a network adapter? Are they needed or is there already one on the motherboard (or somewhere else?)

there is not really much of difference between the Z87 and Z97 boards and yes the board already has a network port

Nikita you got listening impressions of the 1099 I can read? I haven't been in the thread so I figure you must have finished by now. I gotta post a pic of my subwoofer I am almost done with as well. Not anything amazing finish wise (couple of easy to spot imperfections and definitely wasn't able to get a mirror reflective type finish) but I'm happy with it for my first time ever undertaking a project like this. I have a ton more confidence now moving forward on building future projects not just speakers but other woodworking endeavors.

Very little porn under 200 gigs most of which was acquired in the stone ages of the internet lol.

Most is bluray encodes of TV/movies. A full bluray encode of a TV series can be 250+ gigs. Battlestar Galactica's torrent for the highest quality encodes is 500 gigs total I think.

My queue on utorrent will probably fill the majority of one drive though.

Ya, I always choose the slowest shipping option and it comes in like a day. I just got my i5 4690k and power supply like a day after I ordered it.

You must live on the West coast. Here in MN if I do 2 day shipping it often takes 4-5 business days. They claim 2 day shipping isn't from when you order like Amazon, but from when they get around to shipping it. BS imo. On the plus side, at least I don't get charged tax.

I can't fault Amazon. Quick as fuk deliveries, and when my logitech g27 went wrong recently, they put another one in the post to me within the hour of me contacting them, and give me a month to send back the old one (they paid return postage)

Misc_brah. Whats an aesthetic regular CPU cooler that you think would match your build if you didn't use water cooling? I wanted to try a red/black build but not sure what would match. I've seen the Xigmatek Dark Knight II, which looks kind of nice.

I've got their fans as intakes with black stickers over the BQ ones so they blend in.

I was going to use one originally but IMO, heat-sinks look ridiculous.

At this point I should probably be tipping the UPS delivery driver for how many times he comes to my house in a month.
I was going to say there have been probably 100 deliveries a year to my house from Amazon....

It's been 172 deliveries this year alone... and there is still 4 months left lol.....
