This haven't anything to do with PC rigs or so, but a headset is a headset (u wot m9-1).
I have used in-ears for mobile listening and training the last 5 or 6 years. Thought that I should buy the in-ears from a reputable hifi shop instead of getting them from the web. Bought Marshall minors. Worked fine. Only problem was that they got worn out REALLY fast. Like, 6 months in I had to go get new ones. This happend 4 times. The 4th time I said that "fk it, I wanna upgrade/get moneyback". I got a coupon worth the headset and mulled over this for a few days. Decided to buy B&W C5 for 200 bucks or so. They lasted around a year or so before I had to get a replacement.. got it on warranty and all.
Today it started tricking again (my second set) of B&W C5's. Called down to the shop and asked if they had me in the database, yes they did. It was exactly 364 days since I last had gotten a replacement. They didn't have any in stock, but he would order one for me so that I could have it on the upcomming tuesday. I asked "how long warranty is it?", "Well, it's 2 years normally, but since you are a hifi club member it's 3 years.".
So - end of story - paying 20$ extra for in-ears and I get endless warranty. Lmao.
Cliffs: buy inears, wear em out, get new on warranty * 7, have 3 year warranty each time I get new plugs.
And - idk how the fk I manage to wear them down so fast....
Maybe because of this:

I found the problem
It's this update that's ****ing everything up, and not just the AMD drivers.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3004394
I suggest everyone looking and removing it.
Able to update the driver just fine.

Right now im looking for a good MMO to play does anyone have any suggestions?? I've tried RIFT a little bit, Archeage, and WoW. I have a Toshiba Satellite s55-A5275. Intel i7-4700MQ 2.4ghz with 6mb cache; 8gb ddr3 RAM; Geforce 740m (2gb); on windows 8. Got it for around $650 at a pawn shop which was a steal in my opinion. Right now im looking for some good MMO's to play to bring back a nostalgic feel that I originally got from the WoW back in the day, or a good PC RPG to play; any suggestions??

This is where speaker/headphone sensitivity comes in.
The m50s are not particularly that sensitive, but your blaster is probably more than they can take. There are attenuators sold on the audio side. A simple plug (a $40 one) does this for my audio to headphone jack on my camera. There is also the software route.🎥

Just got it finished. It seems the Corsair Air series AF140 fan likes to make an odd noise (like an old school harddrive loading) when it is facing upwards. I even changed it out and put another in its place thinking it was a defect, but nope. Both of them are making the noise. When I lightly put pressure on the fan it stops making that noise. Anyhoo here are the pics. I took many to, but I am just going to upload them all. I have a RGB LED kit inside so I can change to any color basically.

yo brahs I need help suggesting a pc build for my friend. He plans on only spending $600 so should I suggest and AMD build? and what AMD cpu is the best to get now? He's just gonna use it for gaming and streaming. He's doesn't play LOL, Starcraft, WOW and shiit like that so having an Intel cpu doesn't really matter just looking for the cheap alternative.

Looking to get my feet wet in pc gaming, put this together but had a few basic questions. How do i know what PSU i need, and if the one i selected is overkill (could i save some money?) Also between AMD and Intel processors, whats the main difference between the two, besides AMD is "more bang for your buck" i was told intel is much easier to upgrade to an i5/i7, but are AMD processors harder to upgrade say from FX 6300 to 8350 ? Also is there anything wrong with hybrid hard drives ? or am i better off with doing SSD+harddrive
Heres the build i put together

Anyone know of a keyboard with a layout similar to this(logitech k360)? Looking for something compact that still has the numberpad
So far I've found two; the Roccat Arvo which has terrible reviews and the CM Quickfire TK:
I'd like the up/down/left/right arrows to be separate though
Upgrade the cpu to a 4690k. Otherwise you don't need a Z97 board

SSDs are the way to go. The i3 you have will be good, but I would seriously consider an i5. if the budget is the problem and you just want a filler for now, the G3258 ($60-$70) is a great CPU and easily overclockable past that i3's capabilities
as far as PSU, for a single card, 500w is enough. just make sure it's 80+ certified.take care misc, it's been fun

My bank has a deal with tigerdirect where I get 20% back on up to a $600 purchase, so I will have to find these parts or similar on there, but for the most part anything you would suggest? I won
't be overclocking from the get go, I will add more fans/liquid cooling in the future though."We gon rumble in this ho" - Jason Genova
