Now we have Chinese and Indian labs creating research chemicals and synthetics (The new Bath Salts) that are being sold as "Molly". Kids are being hospitalized or dying in numbers that have never been seen before as a result. It's been around forever, but since it's recent popularity and the boom of the "EDM" scene there has never been a problem like this, all because of prohibition and every ******* trying to cash in.

There were underlying issues prior to the three-way relationship and it was bound to end eventually, I'm just glad the situation sped up the process and ended things PRIOR to actually getting married.

I don't think people are made to be monogamous naturally, it's definitely a social thing. I do think that for some people though, the attraction to other should stay as an attraction and you shouldn't act on it. Other people/relationships/situations may call for a more open approach.

But I also think they should have that figured out by the time they reach their mid twenties and start entering serious relationships that may ultimately end in marriage. I still remember getting into a fight with my ex and her words were "I'm not a 'training' girlfriend. I've done that enough. By now you should be past that, and you should know what you want", oddly enough she ended up dating a girl and is now a self proclaimed member of the LBGQT or whatever family. I was left thinking "So I should know exactly what I want, but you're 24 and just discovered you're a lesbian? Sounds like I'm the 'training' boyfriend".

An immense waste of time, and quite a painful one at that. Eat your meat or your salmon at whatever meals you like, but I think there comes a point where people should have it figured out before they enter into something solid or long term with someone is all.

I dont totally disagree with what youre trying to say (I think, your point may be slightly unclear?). I dont think I would walk down the same path with my current bf. BUT, that being said, I wouldn't totally exclude a sexual adventure down the road with him, though I would leave a side relationship out of the equation.

And in her defense, "discovering" she is a lesbian is a bit more complicated than youre making it sound. From my standpoint, I believe that you can fall in love with either gender, because you fall in love with a person, not their genitals. She had to have had some physical attraction to women before that, but being in love with a woman doesn't mean she doesn't have herself figured out. The woman that I was with was extremely intelligent, ambitious, charismatic, independent, witty, tenacious, fun, and a very loving and selfless individual. She had many qualities that I didnt even know were important to me, and I fell in love with her mind and personality.

Possibly the woman your ex is with possessed many of the qualities and the maturity your ex wished you had. Just the dck was lacking. I would trade a dck for a vag for the perfect personality in a partner.

All in all, it didnt work out for me.... and you may cough it up as a mid-twenties phase... but my opinion on it holds, if a woman had everything I wanted and needed in a partner, I would be with her, just as I would with a man (I would just have a few more toys, and a bit more difficulty getting pregnant to raise my 2 mom'ed family).

Might be true. She was also a mess of an individual in general, had a load of anxiety problems, depression, sought attention and affirmation from everyone and anyone. Needed everyone to be her friend etc. I think she's very welcoming to any kind of love she can get, and that makes it more important. I'm sure the girl she had her 2 month thing with possessed qualities I didn't have (maturity definitely not being one of them). I was more of my GF's dad than I was her BF half the time, trying to get her to slow down / stop with rampant drug abuse (Yes moreso than myself), having to help her with her bills, rent, groceries etc because she was too busy trying to fund the next party. I do take some offence to it, simply because I treated my Ex like gold, to the point where even after we broke up her parents were telling me I deserved better than her and I was too good for her, along with her friends. I may not have had all the "qualities" she wanted, but I was more than good enough to deserve better than what I got. Civility should be given to all humanity.

I agree people can love personalities, minds etc etc, but I have plenty of guy friends that possess all the qualities I'd want in someone (Thus they're my friends), and I've never once considered zukking their dinks or "making love" to them, simply because..nope..just...nope. That's something I have figured out, and I think it's something that's pretty clear to someone. If you're bi, gay/lesbian or straight I think it's something you're aware of by the age of 25. Mostly because the urge to have intimate relations with that gender/sex would have cropped up by then. I think if anything it comes form people denying it for so long that it comes out swinging when they're put in situations where they're already knee deep in it (A la three somes with girls)

Maybe it's maturity, maybe I come across as butthurt or maybe I just lack the life wisdom at this stage,but either way it's a monumental waste of time. For the most part, I think she was confused, and her constant drug abuse wrecking havoc on chemical balances (onces that largely effect emotions) likely wasn't helping bring any clarity.
