I tried IF today for the first time and its possibly the worst thing I've ever done, I felt drained, tired, no energy. Went to the gym couldn't push as much as Normal. Anyone else had anything like this? I fasted for 16 hrs.. Horrible! Drunk 2 litres of water during the day to try and stop me feeling so hungry

Actually I'd say putting up with the countless threads you create on stupid topics is the worst thing ever.

Try it, your growth hormone levels will raise so high you will no longer be natural. I did IF for a month and now have a lifetime ban from any competitions, feelsbadman.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

i did 20 hour daily fasts with IF for almost 6 months, the first week or so i did feel a little drained of energy when fasting, but after that time there was absolutely no change in energy. These days i wouldnt train fasted as i find it is not optimal for performance, and would definitely reduce the fasting period to 16-17 hours, that seems to give me the best balance of all round energy and performance. Are you getting enough calories during your eating window? Some people like to train a few hours after their first breaking fast meal, or after their last meal. experiment with it depending upon what your goals are and find what works best for you
