So we keep talking about players who need extensions but what about Harbaugh's? He is signed through 2015 and wants to be paid like a superbowl winning coach. There are rumors that the team made him an offer but he didn't except it or respond to it. IMO the team needs to pay the man. He is to important/valuable to this team. Look what he has done sense he was hired. They would be stupid to let him go if it comes down to that.

Having said that...I agree the team needs to pay him. New stadium = lots of cash. Harbaugh has done very few things which haven't worked out...the only thing I'd like to see him change on is his idea that 80s level of football can still win you a SB ring. It can but you pretty much need your defense to play flawless and your running game to never have off days. Time to adapt!

I find it hard to believe that they would let the man walk though so maybe and hopefully it's just a matter of time.

I have a new thought on the Vernon situation. The team told him not to show up and make up BS excuses why so that they could actually get Vance more reps so he can progress and learn to catch. It's all a ploy, a great one at that.

I think as far as Harbaugh goes, the 49ers will get it done, don't see anyway that he isn't extended, it's just that, as always, the 49ers will do it on their own timeline and not anybody else's.

I remember feeling two things during that game. 1, Kap is sick. And 2, lawd it sucks to be Jason Campbell.


Also, Kap was asked about his new receivers: "Do you just do your thing and have them adjust to you and develop chemistry that way, or do you kind of look to see what they do well also?"

Kap's answer: "Well I think it's a different situation with Stevie [Johnson] and Brandon [Lloyd]. They've both had a lot of success in the league so that's something I want to work with them with, what they're doing. And that's something our team wants to do as well. Whereas Ellington you have to get him more adapted to the system and really get him on the same page as us and let him do his thing once he gets comfortable."

i doubt the team would tell anyone to stay away. If they wanted to give Vance more snaps they could just give him a vets day off all the time. But i'd rather believe your idea than him staying away cuz of contract issues.

Wow don't know how I didn't see that. I literally posted right after you too. Vance needs to learn to catch and needs more reps I am sticking with that. It is voluntary after all and with Vernon out Vance is getting first team reps until mandatories.

The guy wouldn't let me get a word in after telling me what a ******* Kaepernick was and how Romo is so clutch and how all Niner fans should be taken out back and shot. Ended the conversation with a "u mad" and walked away lol. His jimmies were pretty rustled.
