OP's theory is legit, and fits within other theories
It's all about he face -> a good looking face can be intimidating, in the sense that you might naturally feel that person's genetics are better than yours.
It's all about the height -> obviously having height gives you a presence, people automatically assume you are more capable in a fight and stronger, etc.
It's all about the wallet -> being rich means you tend to dress well, have a flashy watch or something, tend to be more educated, not to mention able to bring more resources to bear (lawyers etc) all this can be intimidating to those who are less wealthy.

-Confidence (confident speech, posture, body language, etc)
-Impeccable eye contact (a lot of guys don't maintain eye contact, but when they do, I find myself averting my gaze in intimidation)
-Intelligence/knowledge about any specific subject (combined with confidence? hnnngggggg)
-General strength (mental and physical)
-Physique/height can add to it but surprisingly it's not the main contributing factor
Just from my perspective. Obviously, it can vary.*Positive Crew*

Anything that is an expression of masculinity - will make girls swoon like no tmr.
So what does that mean? Embrace your masculinity.
When you're standing, have a wide open stance - not closed in like a wussy. When you go out - dress sharp so that it accentuates broad shoulders/arms/chest etc- these all bring out masculine traits.
Why do male models have shaved heads? Because it accentuates jawline - accentuates masculinity. Why do guys drive sports cars that have a strong growling exhaust? Again - accentuates masculinity - exudes confidence.
Why do some male models groom their eyebrows/beard? Again - accentuates masculinity.
Why do you guys even lift? Obv for health and fitness - but lets be honest - the side benefit of it is accentuating masculinity.
The list goes on.
Whatever you do - embrace your masculinity or accentuate it.Where the money @ doe

i disagree with money being part of the intimidation game.
money is the provider aspect. aka kids will have ressources to grow up and be of a certain status in society. however during her most fertile cycle period, she will still be most attracted to the high-test warrior-guys with superior genetics, regardless of their wealth. she will do everything in her power to get pregnant by him, but raise the kid as if it were the providers.
however if you start looking at extremes, ofcourse it has some intimidation factor, a bum will probably move out of the way if some superrich guy walks towards him, even if the bum could physically overpower the rich guy.** fishface crew (• ε •) **

But lets say a guy is good looking, tall, great body, face, etc. Is it really in his best interest to try an act super confident because that might intimidate girls too much. Wouldn't acting a little beta/less intimidating in this situation be better? Or do girls constantly prefer a man to always look and act confident and masculine?

There's this girl at my office where I'm interning who is an absolute dime. I'm about two years younger than her but I look three older than her. We haven't really talked much, but I ran into her in the kitchen last week and we had a brief convo while I was getting some stuff from the pantry, towards the end we were both looking straight at each otherr and I made prolonged eye contact with her for the first time since I started working, and almost as soon as I did she seemed to get extremely flustered and hurried out of the kitchen, like went from chill/casual to hurrying out of there suddenly.
