I use rep prs...and you can see that in the method...
I knew that is I could 3x2-with 925, chances were good I'd squat a grand. I was talking to AJ Roberts after he squatted a grand. I figured that if all was right, based on my numbers, I could go 1,025-1,050. He said when he tripled 900 with gear on straps down, that was his pr triple when he squatted a grand. So I did 910. My pr double was 955, straps down, no wraps. So, I felt that I could easily open 960, hit the grand and then go for something bigger on the 3rd.
So, I keep up with those things. Like for bench, I knew if i was at 585x6 for decline, my raw and shirted bench single would and should go up. So, we track everything on the main lifts.
Foreplay?
Is that when you call out for pizza and then have sex so you have time to catch your breath and pour a 3 finger bourbon and tip the driver?

Scary Story. If you watch on my first set of 405 I had a hard time re racking the weight. I had adjusted the J hooks a bit higher. I found this helps get better tightness and alleviates some shoulder discomfort. Well when it came to racking 405 it made it pretty hard as seen.
I couldn't get the bar up on the j hooks and it became a bit of a struggle. I was like "oh great i'm going to die right here at home with no one home" haha. After that I just adjusted the j hooks down a hole so the bar when racked was at chest level.
Other than that my squats felt rock solid. I hit a volume PR with 405 in wraps and yes it's a legit PR Jason I only really count PRS with my main lifts anyways.
