I was pretty beat up leading up to this workout. The workout from 9/16/14 had me feeling worn down for this bench workout. I'm glad I have 2 days of rest today and tomorrow. Saturday starts week 5 and puts me two weeks out from my meet. I'll be squatting at EPC on Saturday going for 415lbs for 1-4 reps. Wednesday i'll be back there to pull for a PR w/475lbs for 1-4 reps.

Today marks 2 weeks out from my meet. Today couldn't have gone any better! Last week I hit 400x2 and today nailed 415x3 for a new 3RM wrapped squat PR. I honestly had a 4th rep in me and was going to go for it. As soon as I got done with the 3rd rep I lost my balance and felt myself leaning forward. Rather then risking anything I just decided to rack it and was real happy with 3 strong reps. The program called for 1-4 reps.
It was just a great day of training and couldn't have asked for more. This really sets me up great for my meet and 425 is easily going to be smoked.
Squats w/wraps
315x1, 365x1 (warm ups)
Top set
415x3 3RM wrapped squat PR
Deads
325x4, 340x4, 355x2

They felt f'n dialed in man. If what I have goes to plan I really want to total 1,200. That would be 116lbs added on to my total from my first meet in April. That would be pretty insane. It all comes down to if I feel I can knock out a 275 bench and a 500lb pull.

* program called for 1-4 reps. Today just wasn't my day for bench. I wanted more than one but knew 1 was all that I was getting. I feel my bench hasn't progressed as much as I would like on this program thus far.
I'm thinking for the meet I'm going to secure a meet PR and go for 260. After that it's just back to getting stronger with my bench.
