I don't get how Heat fans can deny this. Its obvious that the Eastern Conference is weak and Heat just bulldozed pass everyone. Looking back at most of the playoff games, its blatantly clear that the WC, games were more competitive cause of the skill of each team were somewhat equally match. Its a fact that there are better and more superstars on the west than the east. This is not to take away from the Heat skill because most likely they can beat any top team from the west. Its just the road to get to the Finals is way too easy for the Heat because of the weak EC teams, which is why I think they should change the format....
inb4 people claim that the Bobcats were good and the Pacers were a good matchup.
The only decent matchup for the Heat in the EC was the Nets, but they blew it smh. Heat is just too much for the EC. Put either Spurs, OKC, Clippers, Mavs, GSW, Houston etc in the east and I bet all of them would cruise through that conference as well.

Are you retarded? You are ****ing 19. You are literally just making whatever argument suits you. Saying he has 3 all stars is hilarious.
Dying laughing at you idiots using the all star argument AND the east is poverty argument.
Do any of you really believe wade OR bosh would have made the western conference all star roster this season? Serious question *******s.Originally Posted by RogerSterling i workout for my health, dont feel the need to eat if i'm not hungry since i still get plenty of puss being the weight i am now.

Are you serious? Hell yeah they would. Make a poll and let's find out. Wade and Bosh wouldn't start, but hell yeah they'd make the roster. Wade is the 2nd best SG in the league, when healthy, and he was able to get healthy because Spolestra could rest him in the regular season playing in the poverty Eastern Conference. If Wade and Bosh doesn't make the roster, no one else from the East outside of Lebron would make the roster in the West.
But what does Wade and Bosh have anything to do with the Western Conference? All the teams Miami beat so far in the playoffs are from the East.

Wade would have, but being voted into the All Star game is a bit of a joke considering Kobe was voted in after playing a whole 6 games or w/e it was.
But OP makes a good point, Miami are frauds for beating teams they were better than. Even bigger frauds for beating the no.1 seed that the majority of the sports misc claimed were gonna destroy them.
Lebron and Bosh going to South Beach ruined the East, their decision meant that there wasn't a singe other superstar in the league that could have went to the East and made a team a contender. On top of that it stopped GM's from being able to make moves and make their own big 3.

The competition for the heat IS that poor. You *******s saying the heat deserve the credit because they are beating the best from the west?
They beat the thunder when ibaka wasn't an all-star caliber player yet. Westbrick and durant were also very inexperienced and still are.
The spurs they beat, their big 3 can almost draw social security each individually.
Kobe bodied the spurs big 3 when they were in their prime. Don't forget that lebronies.
Also, the celtics teams that troubled lebrony earlier on, yea you guessed it. Kobe bodied them too when they were making their championship runs.
For the stans saying lebrony is better than Kobe , he's cleaning up on teams Kobe bodied when they were in their prime.

1990-1991: 1 team under 500 and 1 at 500 in east playoffs, 1 500 team in west playoffs
1991-1992: 3 teams under 500 in east playoffs
1992-1993: 1 500 team in east and west playoffs, 1 under 500 in west
1995-1996: 1 500 team and 1 under 500 team in bestern playoffs
1996-1997: 3 teams under 500 in the "bestern playoffs"
1997-1998: 1 500 team in west playoffs
2006-2007: 1 team under 500 in east
2011-2012: ZERO teams under 500 in either playoffs
2012-2013: 1 team under 500 in east
2013-2014: 1 team under 500 in east

BUT BUT BUT.. wait let me tell you what the combined record of the entire conference is, so i can include the 20 win bottom feeders into the conference win percentage, as if every team in the conference makes the playoffs, as if the 20 win bottom feeders dont play teams from the other conference as well.

Please stfu, your argument is so flawed it's not even funny.
you claim ko and wb were young but forget LBJ was with a bunch of nobodies when he got swept by the spurs, you know, seasoned vets?
Kobe bodied nobody. He had some guy named shaq who was the most dominant player of recent history to attract attention freeing up kobe.
Heat beat the spurs who everyone said would beat the heat.
Spurs, who can collect SS, are getting out of the "bestern conference". How poverty does that make the other teams that couldn't beat them?
About the celtics. Weren't the the FIRST big 3 of recent history? Or did you forget that you dumb *******? Allen, KG, and pierce in their primes isn't a big 3? Did you forget how good Bynum was when he gave a ****? And pau? Lmaooooooo you're so stupid. We gonna act like Bynum wasn't a defensive force and a top 2 center with offense capabilities? We gonna act like pau was a scrub?misc at work crew

How is what LeBron faced only this season different from what Magic faced in his prime?
Showtime Lakers playoff opponents:
1984 playoffs
38 win Kansas City Kings
43 win Dallas Mavericks
41 win Suns in the WC Finals
1985 Playoffs
36 win Suns
42 win Blazers
52 win Nuggets
1986 Playoffs
35 win Spurs
44 win Mavs
51 win Rockets ( A series they lost)
1987 Playoffs
37 win Nuggets
42 win Warriors
39 win Supersonics
1988 Playoffs
31 win Spurs
47 win Jazz
53 win Mavs
1989 Playoffs
39 win Blazers
47 win Supersonics
55 win Suns
All years the Lakers had the 1 seed. They must've been lucky they weren't in the super competitive East with the Sixers, MJ's Bulls, Bad Boy Pistons, and Bird's Celtics.
How are these any different from what the Heat faced this season?
43 win Bobcats
44 win Nets
56 win Pacers( No HCA either)
And this is the only year the Heat had easy competition. Magic had this for a good 6 seasons. Plus Magic had the all time leader in points right by his side.
Magic's so lucky he didn't play in the tough tough East huh?Dallas Cowboys

Miami must really have struggled against teams from the western conference over the last few years, because its such a stacked conference right... oh wait, their record is just as good against them as it is against eastern teams... Miami went on a 17 game winning streak against western teams last year, lol.

it is interesting when some posters throw out evidence that doesn't jibe with their agenda. not realizing, that those horrible teams affect the records of other teams in the conference.
mj's first championship: he ousted 2 teams that combined to win the previous 5/6 championships.Last edited by broboma2012; 05-31-2014 at 09:06 AM.
