Anyone read the Jay Cutler article recently?

Confirms the marriage not existing now for the first time I have seen.

I'm hip to a lot of different subcultures that appeal to that age bracket, because bodybuilding just keeps you younger. I'm not married. I don't have children. If you know that your body is done, the competition is passing you by, and your focus is marketing your supp line like Ronnie C and Gaspari......
Then why is 230 at 5ft 9 a bad number. You can still be popular and represent the sport.

Because the nostalgia of Pro's and mr o's of each persons time is a staple and for some reason really hard to let go of. For me when I think of mr o I think Jay and ronnie battling it out between them because that's how it was when I first got interested in bodybuilding. As people get stuck on Dorian or Haney or even were introduced to Arnold before anything modern and so there first experience was watching Arnold win so for them Arnold is the staple. To see these people shrink down is hard to deal with in a strange kind of way.

I hate change and seeing Jay taking a back step just feels wrong. Although I can understand totally it's easier on his health.

I am actually the opposite. I want to see Jay go down to a lean but still big 230. At 5'9 and 230 ripped, he would still be among the top percentile size wise in any gym.

Levrone same thing, 5'9 220. Perfect for a retired pro. Same as Dorian, probably around 220-230 as well.

Who wants to see these guys walking around at 250+ lbs when they no longer hit the stage, for what? I personally value their health and longevity a lot more than their size as a retired Pro.

Why Ronnie still feels the need to try and be massive is a bit of a head scratcher but to each their own. It is probably more difficult to let go for some and easier for others et.

I am with you Canuck, but I would say I would like to see him trim down even more. 230 at 5'9" is still enormous. Though the way Dorian looks now is pretty impressive. Looks healthy and not too big. Poor Ron just looks like a bit of a mess, but hopefully he manages to fix that soon.

lol...in all seriousness though, Jay could pull off hangin out with guys in their 30's...he does look younger than 40 and has a pretty good sense of style. He dresses sort of trendy and youthful but not in a lame Jersey Shore kind of way.

I would say you are born too old for it to look good, but 40 is definitely a cut off.

Unless you are a hip-hop artist like Jay-Z who is 44 and can actually still pull this off although he dresses a lot more sophisticated swag than gangsta these days.
