Yeah I use to be way overweight and had puberty Gyno in both nips. My left hurt pretty consistent and my right just always had a lump but never really hurt and it doesn't now. Just left. Fat kid probs

Thanks bro, I just hope they hold up against other LHs. I know some of the guys I'll be competing against, and they're monsters. I just hope I bring your level of conditioning because I'm going to need it.

Edit: also, I was mindfuked for about 3 months post comp cause I kept thinking I was getting SOOOOOO fat. But you can't hold that kind of conditioning forever, it's bad for you. So...somehow just accept it It really does suck, it's the worst feeling.

Needed this a lot, thanks man. I just need to accept and get my mindset in check.And you'll hold yourself up well. You competing light-heavy? Those dudes are big, but from what I experienced in my last comp, the majority of them were much taller than us middle weights

I was fine at 1850 cals/day but as soon as I dropped to 1800 I couldn't keep myself below 2000. Pretty crazy what a 50 cal drop can do, I was fking starving, lol.

Which I'm ok with--I'm going to start dieting 3-4 weeks out from the first show (6 weeks from now), and then roll into the second even leaner hopefully (9 weeks from now).

How aggressive are your weekly refeeds? I just do one at 2,500 and 400-450 carbs.

I'm sure I'd be good doing twice a week but I'd like to get under 10% before I start trying that

That is basically the same scenario for me. I was 168 in my weight class. I will admit though I was one of the most shredded guys there so that helped tremendously. I can't imagine you not getting top 5. You'll do great. It blows my mind though that some peeps compete at like 10 to even 12 percent bf...

Usually try to go up to maintainace at about 2650 - 2700. But I don't always eat that much because I'm not used to eating so much, so it sometimes ends up less than that. Although yesterday I went over quite a bit but I worked out a lot this weekend so I kind of needed it. Feeling pretty good today because of that, so even though it's an off day I'm planning to do some cardio tonight.

It might be because they register for the show early and didn't give themselves enough time to get below 10%.
Now I registered just before the late fee cutoff. That's usually two weeks out.
If I don't look good then I probably won't look good in two weeks.
I do this also in case life throws me some curves and my mind just isn't in the game anymore.
I learned that one two years ago.

I dunno. Had chipotle (burrito bowl macros=not so bad) so maybe. Come to think of it maybe was a liter or so short of a gallon, did a leg workout and was moving around lifting heavy chit because I helped the gf move though. Just extra frustrating considering the extra work

Then again I got paid in bj's....cant be that mad
