i'm 5 weeks out from my 1st physique competition. all i'm trying to do is not come in last place and i'll be thrilled.



i still need to learn how to pose and what to do from like 2 and 1 weeks out. i really have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to competition.

For physique posing is key.
With bodybuilding you have time to get in to the pose, not with physique.

You have to hit the pose as you come around from each quarter turn.
You need to look wide and big and yet still look natural and relaxed.
The posing looks easy but there are all sorts of nuances to it to show off your physique best.

Is there someone, you know, who knows the posing and can teach you?

BTW: I did Masters Physique Over 45 a few weeks ago.
It was my first time competing in Physique.
I was the oldest at 61. I came in last.

I started doing HIIT on the upright bike on my non lifting days.

no problem. I've suggested it to others in this thread, but you could do a "trial" peek weak to see how your body reacts to carb depletion and then how many carbs you can take in before you spill over. It might give you a better idea of what to do before you go on stage

Well im around 210 right now, only been cutting for about 40 days. Lift 3x a week full body, 3x a week 45-1 minute power walk(dont hate), and bedtimecardio about 3x a week as well.


edit: what are you guys cutting at? those that arent going super super crazy shredded levels
