Search "Philips Hf3470 Wake-up Light, White" on Amazon
I also just recently downloaded f.lux on my mac. It works with time of day and sunset to dim the blue light emitted by your computer. the blue light really messes with the release of natural melatonin. To download it on iPhones and iPads you have to jailbreak the device..not trying to do that though so I try to stick to my computer at night. just google how blue light effects your natural sleep patterns. Unfortunately the cfl lightbulbs we are using in our homes also emit blue light.

Oil pull. Serious. I do it first thing in the morning and I have a lot more energy. Just don't use fluoride toothpaste afterward. It makes your teeth brittle and your teeth are now exposed because you've removed the plaque.
The reason it works is because it cleans your mouth. The mouth is the gateway to your body and cleaning your mouth dramatically affects your health and ur energy levels.A man asked two bricklayers what they were doing. The first said "I'm laying bricks." The second said, "I'm building a cathedral."
Never trust a fart.

Damn we're spoiled. Wake up and get to work cause you have to.
I literally jump out of bed when my alarm goes off. I realize people work hard, I should make the most out of my day, and early bird gets the worm. How will I be when I'm older, if I'm already having a hard time with mornings and complaining. It's proven you're more productive when you wake up earlier during the start of your day.
My dad has more energy than me still after all those years of work, with no breaks, no vacations, no weekends off, and he's in his early 50s. I'm sure because I don't eat well and he does.“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.†- Benjamin Franklin

If you want your face to feel fresh and glowing what I do is use the burts bees chamomile face wash. Wakes you up and leaves yor face feeling tingly and fresh and glowing. No harsh chemicals not drying at all 100% natural ingredients. Also Ice is the goat acne treatment seriously. Something that also makes me feel good is actually getting ready and looking good no matter where I'm going cuz. Females be miroon

I'm by no means a morning person, but I do get decent sleep and decent 'get up and go' with a lot of the methods listed.
Subbed, I think that there's really a lot of good information in this thread! I've found that 6-7 hours works great, but any less and I'm a monster. If I don't have to get up in the morning, usually I sleep for about ten or so total, which really seems in line with the 'sleep cycle' theory. I've found that melatonin 3mg about an hour before bed does make me feel better when I wake up, but I get stronger dreams with it. First nocturnal emission ever at thirty crew checking in. Not even mad.
Someone mentioned that knowing you got chit to do makes a difference. It certainly does. If I know I can slack, I will, lol.
Personally, the food thing really doesn't help. Intermittent fasting, and EC stack helps with concentration at work, but if it's a wake and gym day, sometimes I like to eat something small before I go. Can't stand working out when I think I'm totally carb depleted and probably dehydrated too. The tip of 'if you get up naturally and feel good, just go with it', is absolutely true.

So true. Most of us spent so much time taking care of business, whether it be work, gym, other people, whatever, that we neglect our own surroundings. God, I love a clean apartment. Feels so much better just being here, even though it's usually not for very long.positive crew

Did my usual nigh time routine of zma, melatonin and a cup of valerian tea in bed before 11 to try in sleep, I think I was asleep by 11?
I normally set my alarm for 7 and hit snooze two or three times till its nearly wanted to be up at 6:30 to get in some light cardio and music, according to http://sleepyti.me/, I had to be asleep by 11, actually got out of bed no problem, did cardio, drank lots of water mixed with bcaa's, listened to gorgoroth, went back and had a cold shower.........ho lee phuck, It knocked the breath out of me!!!!
But I feel pretty pooped now, It's now 10 am, I've been at work for a couple of hours, feel like I could sleep all day!!
But I did briefly wake in the morning to take a piss and woke again after dreamt I'd slept through my alarm and had to check, it was only 6:08, and I went back to sleep till half past, did I dun good by doing that?
Anyway awesome thread guys, feels pretty good having a proper morning routine!!

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
