1 month IF and Carb Cycling

Hey guys just wanted to show my transformation from 220lbs-205lbs in a months time. I lifted real heavy during the 1 month phase 4-6 rep range. I did Intermittent fasting, and carb cycled. I know some don't believe in IF or CC but I believe it worked for me. I have been lifting for about 10 years. Feel free to ask any questions.

were you cutting prior to starting IF/CC or was this including that initial week of water weight and fat?

My first week was 6 lbs last 10 weeks has been a 1 or 2 lbs/week since... plateauing now so gonna do CC and other things to try and lose the last of the fats I'm holding on to.

I'm trying to get down to 10% BF (around 13% now) and if I can get similar results within a month Id try it (weigh ~212, trying to get to 200 or so). I know leangains is the go to for IF info but where did you get your info on CC? Did you change your water intake at all? How many days did you lift per week during this time? Any fat loss supps? Sorry for all the questions haha.

    Look good bro.

No I wasn't cutting just lifting and eating whatever I thought was healthy. I didn't count my calories or macros

I just typed CC on Google and found a few different sites and picked and choosed what I liked. I upped my water intake to 100oz per day. I lift 2 days a week at the gym, 1 day hiit sprints and 1 crossfit day. I only eat carbs on those days. All other days I kept my carbs below 50 grams a day.

I am assuming carb cycling works for cutting because on the non lifting days you are consuming less calories due to lower carbs?

**** works and is so simple. I don't eat from 10pm - 4pm the next day. 4pm is postworkout and I just have the bulk of my carbs in the first two meals then fade them out from there.

So I suppose carb cycling is not for me if I lift 5-6 days a week? I run PPL twice a week with a day off in between. I think I will just stick to IF and do 2 days of HIIT uphill sprints.

I'm not sure on your split, try eating about 1.5 carbs per lb on lifting days. On the days when you don't work out just eat less than 50 total carbs not net to depleit your glycogen stores. I also work out fasted with only a cup of black coffee before workout.

I do Push Pull Legs, off, Push Pull Legs. So I workout 6 out of 7 days, Id be cycling one day haha. I did the other IF protocol for a bit where you end your fast with a preworkout meal and that worked pretty well. I can't train fasted for my life, extra BCAAs didn't help and my strength was horrible. I can probably make it through a cardio session but not lifting.
