So disappointed with Bosnia today, Safet Susic is a fuking moron.

The 4231 formation was working beautifully with kolasinac as lb and pjanic and besic in the middle, with guys like hajrovic and visca as pacey wingers, why change it for a completely retarded formation where there are 3 defenders, 6 creative midfielders who dont track back and dzeko stranded up top? makes no sense

whats worse is that going up against a strong and fast team, susic subbed out all the strong and fast players from bosnia and started a bunch of slow creative types who dont track back on defense, creating a perfect storm of bosnia getting it's ass rammed on counters. also strong playing his nephew, kid sucks its so obvious the only reason he was there was because his dad is the coaches brother

You can check contested calls during half time. For example, the refs could have checked the bad offside call during half time and given them the point. But we know the real reason they haven't implemented that in soccer as they have in the NFL and NBA... It's because it's much easier to fix games when you don't review calls. That way they can play dumb and pretend they made a mistake.

Which brings it back to the slowing down the game which noone wants. I agree that it's important to get decisions right but at the same time you don't want to have to wait a few minutes to confirm it. You can't "confirm it at half time" because football is a very tactical game and a goal changes the way your team plays.

What's funny is that Blatter was at the Nigeria - Bosnia match and saw it all happen. I guarantee he'll say something like 'That's football' and 'That's the charm of the sport'.
