This guy I was talking too that bought an Sv650 just told me this after he saw my bikes on craigslist (I didn't even tell him), and it's exactly what I told him before he bought his bike
this nigguh just bought a bike, still hunting craigslist for an inline four** KNEE DRAGGERS UNITE **

lol lighten up guys
chances are he's not gonna die, he'll just be a chit rider
I don't understand why people think liter bikes are these untamable monsters. Sure it's got a lot of power but the bike will still follow the rider's inputs. He most likely doesn't have the skills to ride it properly but death by R1 is not guaranteed.

I don't think that. It's the fact that putting that much power into the hands of someone who's a new rider is absurd. Couple that with the facts that he does stunts on his bike regularly on the street. Maybe I'm a bit hypocritical because I do power wheelies off the line at a stop light ocassionally but still... More facts:
-no longer wears a jacket
-wears shorts now no cares given
-never bothered wearing at least hi top shows when riding, only Vans that expose the ball of the ankle completely
I guess some people are born natural squids. My bet is the helmet is the next to go. When he gets into a wreck it won't be pretty. I better not have my other friends pressuring me into getting rid of my bike when he does because I'm not an idiot.
Oh and by the way this guy takes corners at 20MPH> so you're right about him being a chit rider. I have a signicantly heavier bike and lean more than he does.*MFC*

It's not that liter bikes are more dangerous, it's the fact that the dude knows nothing about motorcycles and is somehow convinced that he needs one. He'll be getting one because he thinks it's cooler and it'll get more respect from other dipshiits that know nothing. I can guarantee that a ninja 250 is too much bike for that inbred retard

There's a reason why 1k race replicas cost $2500+ for collision insurance. Think about it - the loss rate is astronomical. IMO it's less about the machine than it is about the mentality of the guys who think they need to have one.
If you get "bored" on an SV650, you're doing it wrong."Listen here you beautiful bitch, I'm about to fuk you up with some truth." -me

You will solve world hunger before you convince an 18 year old not to get a sportbike if he wants one.

probably a german brah. if you are a new rider in germany you have to ride @ 47 bhp for two years before you rip on the throttle of a literbike that has more bhp then kilograms weight on roads with no speed limit. I think it's not that dumb from the gov.
edit: Bandit's are solid bikes, if naked is your thing go for it.Last edited by MotorcycleBrah; 07-17-2014 at 02:54 PM.

****ty day. Wife's saturn won't pass inspection due to airbag lights and is pretty much not worth the money to fix it, and it's going to be tought to sell if it can't really pass inspection in VA...
Certainly puts a financial damper on fun stuff like motorcycles.Redskins - Capitals - Wizards - Nationals

Check out if there's a key sequence to turn it off.
My Ford Fusion had an airbag light on, and I reset it with a key sequence, something like "turn 5 times, pause for 3 seconds, turn 3 times, etc etc"
If it's that simple, you can ditch the light, thus being able to ditch the car.Everyone can talk chit on the internet until they encounter a 6'7 framed Dorian Yates barndoor boeing747 turtle back freak of nature who drives over 200+ on the autobahn

It doesn't. I could just remove the light, but it's throwing 7 other codes. The electronics are just ****. The worst part is none of it actually changes how the car drives. Works fine and has been driven east coast to Colorado 3 times. It's reliable.
Might just end up buying another 3rd gen 4Runner lol, then donate the car to the Salvation Army.Redskins - Capitals - Wizards - Nationals

Actually in the UK. Similar laws, must be <47 bhp and not exceed a power-to-weight ratio.
Naked is not really my thing, I really like supersports bikes and wanted a 2009-2011 Ninja 250 instead. But then I'm paying 1.5x to 2x more and the Ninja 250 has a smaller engine and sounds like chit. Any thoughts? Maybe some other bikes I could look at?
Btw my Honda CBR125 will probably sell for more than the Bandit 600 will cost, high demand for 125cc's here288 Crew

Was looking an alternative bikes and found this SV650, actually a very good deal, and I can restrict it to 47bhp for fairly cheap too. Just need to see how much the insurance will be
