    193->158.. Need Help with leftover skin! (may2013-may2014)

    Okay, so I am having a big problem from loosing a lot of weight! I have a lot of extra skin from being overweight and I need some help getting rid of it!

    Here is how fast I lost:

    196.5lb(05/23/2013 start date of trying to exercise)
    179lb(02/26/2014 start date of USN boot camp)
    168lb(04/26/2014 end of boot camp/ start of A-School)
    163lb(05/7/2014 checking up on my dieting progress)
    160lb(05/18/2014 checking up...)
    158lb(05/21/2014 just another weight in)

    total so far: -38.5lb ~ a year

    I've attached pics of 196.5, and now w/extra loose skin and love handles that don't want to give!
    Can anyone give me some help on how to get rid of the extra skin and handles?

    Good job on losing the weight. You need a base of muscle now and the rest will take care of itself. You are young, get a good beginner lifting program and follow it for 1 year and then re-evaluate then. Right now just focus on lifting and don't get lost in the details yet.

    Trust me when i tell u that thats nothing compared to mine, youre still about 17% bodyfat. Get more muscle and youll be fine, congrats also on your weightloss

    Thanks, so I need to start a bulking phase? And with my measurements of everything I am 14.5-16% BF using my gyms measurements + apps on my phone/comp. I'm at 33 in. waist when I was 37 last year.

    agree with the two posters above me, lean/slow bulk for a while then cut again and you'll look better.

    I also looked like that after cut. Did a slow bulk for around half a year. Than slowly decreased my calories.
    The leftover skin that you have atm is more fat than actually skin.
    So lean bulk and than slowly cut
    Do I need to lift to become a bodybuilder?

    ^^ agreed your still quite a high bf% but theres no point in carry on cutting or you will be a twig. Concentrate on building some muscle.. Just dont try to bulk too fast or you will be right back where you started.
