I think you guys are missing the point and being unfair to the OP. Several vitamins are needed in sufficient quantities to help protein absorption, including B1 and B6. It is unlikely that your diet is deficient in this mineral, however, and overdosing on it will not help protein absorption. Slightly off-topic but you can also cook your protein sources more before eating them, or acidify them in lemon juice before cooking, in order to start the work of breaking them own/denaturing them so that they are more easily absorbed by your body. Or just pick a more easily absorbed/more quickly abosorbed protein in the first place (absorption rates vary)
