Saw a lot of posts on ******** today about an accident in my hometown. Called my parents and found out it was a guy 2 years younger than me who lived 1 block away in a town of 1500 people. I graduated with his brother and am friends with all 3 boys on ********.
He was passing a vehicle on his motorbike and went head on with another vehicle. He leaves behind a 2 yr old son and a girlfriend.
When you grow up in a town with less than 200 kids in your highschool you know everybody so a lot of my friends are hurting today.
I have a motorcycle myself and I know a lot of you do as well. Please be carefull out there. There's not a lot of second chances on a bike.

Just watched the news. He had his motorcycle learners permit which here in BC means your not supposed to be going over 60km/hr and you have to have a licensed rider within a certain distance from you. Neither was the case
Apparently he popped out from behind a semi and the car was right there. There is also a passing lane a few kilometers past where he crashed. So unfortante that Bad decisions cost him everything. It's not your beliefs that make you a better person, it's your behavior.

First lesson I learned was to ride like everyone else is trying to kill you.
