OK!!!!!! These threads have gotten to stop i am seeing like 2 or 3 of these every week coming in different forms!! Mods you should do somehting about this make some kind of sticky that says "Stupid questions not to ask" and "how much can you bench press" should be #1 Does it matter how much you can bench press? seriously...would you want to look like dexter jackson and max out at only 500lb or look like someone like warren sapp and bench a max of 600 (sapp is a football player for the tampa bay bucks one of the biggest guys in the NFL) You can be lifting weights twice as low as another guy yet still have a body that looks twice as good. Since i noticed that most of the people here are going for the bulky yet slim look. So for all people new to this forum dont ask the most hated question here!

Why sticky a thread where it's just some stupid, immature teens putting up fake, ego-boosting benches? I say we should get the admins to auto-close any thread containing "how much do you bench". That would be the end of it.

i think some people dont get the point Noone cares what your bench is!!! All newbies are curious and ask but if you have been surfing this forum for a few months then it gets annoying!!
i think MJSbossman is correct...post a video or nothing. Or make the "questions not to ask" sticky oh or a teen forum FaQ sticky that should be of use to many people new to this site.If violence didnt solve anything there would be no wars.

flame me if you want
I don't really care the max a person can press. Its all good. I'm just wondering what is considered not enough pounds to start off using for a complete newbie? I've only been doing bench presses for two weeks and was curious if I'm using enough weight. I haven't tried more yet cause I don't want to injury myself.
