I never understood the rule, probably because English infinitive is only conjugated with respect to third person singular. In French the adjective comes after the verb as far as I can remember, and that's all that I can make sense of the structural significance.

Grammar Nazi alert
Wat? By definition the English infinitive is unmarked and thus unconjugated. That's what makes it an infinitive. The only time an infinitive and third person singular ever intersect is in present subjunctive, which uses the bare infinitive for all personal pronouns.

I see now that you're talking about all the conjugations outside of present tense. I never really knew what an infinitive was until I started taking French, much less ever being able to articulate what the English infinitive is.
You spend a great deal of time memorizing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (singular and plural) particular conjugations for present tense alone. Not to mention irregular verbs.
The beauty, age, greatness, etc... deal. I'm starting to remember that particular quirk.
Like that will help him understand more of the post .

I'm sick of working, so here's a primer to bore you.
Conjugation is the way a verb changes based on number, gender, tense, etc. Some languages have crazy complex conjugations but English present tense is really simple: I/you/we/you all/they go, he/she/it goes. The end.
English infinitives are unmarked (which means that something is the basic default generic setting). That's why they use the I/you/we/you all/they form: to swim or to talk or to go instead of to swims/to talks/to goes.
Subjunctive tense expresses something unreal: a desire, emotion, opinion, etc. Much of the time it's not even used in English any more except in constructions like "If I were as rich as Gecko." Present subjunctive uses the bare infinitive, which is the infinitive without the auxiliary "to," as the conjugation form for every single personal pronoun: "It's necessary that you/Lenco/we/y'all/the Ranters suck my balls and fuck your/his/our/your/their face(s)."***Anyone With "Crew" in Their Signature Sucks Balls Crew***

Accepted. I am facing a lot of uncertainty no matter which way you slice it.
Out of my starting line-up this week 5 of 7 are "Q" or "P". Now it looks like Roddy White is out.
This week is over before it even started.
I believe my take-away from this post is that I follow these conventions without knowing that I am doing so.
And I am fine with that.
BTW you missed closing out the BBCode for italicization.

lol definitely heard him. I miss the days when they used to "mic up" players. Peyton Manning was one of my favorites. They mic'ed him up one game during his record setting 2004 year. It was hilarious as they were playing the Jaguars. They had realized how bad Peyton was shredding secondaries, so they sold out to stop the pass and only left 3 in the box every time. During one drive Peyton was like, "Hell, they wanna keep me from passing, who cares? We'll just let Edge run all over them all game."
But just throughout the game he would always make sarcastic comments and crap as well. About the only thing better was when they used to talk about the "Battle of the Bays" (Green Bay vs Tampa Bay) when there was the friendly rivalry between Warren Sapp and Brett Favra. They would talk sh*t to each other all damn game.

XII is probably too open-world for your tastes. It feels more like a single-player MMORPG at times than an FF game.
XIII is the perfect balance between FF and linear Western action-esque gameplay for somebody like you.
You are going to have a love affair with 13.
I guarantee it.
GUARANTEE.
