Last week 185
This week 188
Had a bit more salt/carbs this week. We have alot of different things going on lately. I stayed close to my deficit but, hit maintenance 1 day and also had ~1600 cal day. I did 3+ miles on Tues along with arms/shoulders/back. Walked an easy 4+ miles at the fair today. Some guy at the fair even asked if I did MMA, and a guy at the gym asked me the same thing last week lol. Looking leaner, but my waist is still 36" or higher depending on what I eat. My size 32 shorts are getting looser "still in 34 jeans". I got new running shoes the other day.

Good morning everyone!
I made it through last night's grad party. I only ate a Quest bar and a banana all day (worked...2 houses, did 2 hours of yard work and ran after my great nephew for an hour at the party...literally ran after him, LOL). So I ate a bite of this and that. I'm amazed how quickly I get full on crap. Which is good since I didn't eat a lot at all. No idea cals but I'm sure I was at or under.
Lifting this morning then a baby shower at a chinese restaurant. Then I leave right from there to go to the One Direction concert with my daughter. This will be a tough day to navigate. I'll do my best.
And tomorrow's block party will also be tough but since I'm the host, I am usually too busy to eat. I NEVER have weekends with this much stuff going on so I'm just going to do the best I can .
Block Island is in 2 weeks. LOL.
Wish me luck getting through all of this.

Scale weight: 192.
So kinda a mixed bag here. Scale weight downtrending this week (I'm actually rounding up today from 191.5 to 192), but the last two days my belly has been looking bigger, and sure enough, my measurements are up. Hoping it's just bloat, but I'm not sure why that'd be. No significant changes to my carbs or salt intake that I'm aware of. The double ding of decreasing total weight but increasing bf% knocked down my calculated LBM by nearly 2 pounds. Obviously I didn't lose that in this week, but it does serve as a reminder that we always have to cut for longer than we think. I'm still holding out hope that I'll be in a good spot by the end of this calendar year.
Last few weeks of this thread are going to be tough for me...working 80+ hrs/week for a bit. The goal is just not to gain any weight. I'd be happy if I could even get into the gym once or twice over that period. Gonna have to mostly manage with diet.
Keep on trucking everyone!

I came up with a legitamate electronic invention idea today. The good news is I know people who can manufacture a prototype for me more than likely. Today is a good day.

Good morning everyone!
I made it through yesterday. Not too bad either. Had to eat Chinese food. But ate light and moved on. Had a grilled cheese when I got home at midnight. Nothing else. Oh, a quest bar and fruit in the parking lot. That's balanced.
Today is my big block party. I can't promise I'll be good...there may be beers. Sometimes I'm too busy to drink or eat though...depends on the day and who I end up talking to all day.
I am too old for this busy of a weekend.
LOL.
See you tomorrow!

274.8lbs weigh in
My weight has put a downer on me, Ive worked my socks off this week. Ive added more cardio, I even ate less yesterday and today when I weigh myself Im 0.4lbs heavier! Gutted isnt the word!
So I wonder am i burning muscle rather than fat due to eating less?Last edited by kojiiko; 08-11-2014 at 06:59 PM.

3 more weeks of RFL then I am done with this wretched diet.
Cutting out all free meals for the next three weeks starting tomorrow.
I want under 210 by the end of the month.
Might as well go 150% for the next 21 days.

Weighing in at 184 again this week.
After the carb up last weekend we've settled back to the weight from the week before.
Interesting overall the last two weeks seem to have been a wash.
Travelling for work this week, so it's more of an estimation game than weighing, but I'll be fine.
I'm back to squatting 3 times per week almost exclusively for this reason - the more often I squat, the less DOMS I seem to get, and the less it interferes with everyday life.
Plus, I need the practice!Lift heavy things, eat according to your goals.

Glad to see Monday!!!!! Worked 40hrs in 3 days, this weekend. With all the extra walking, sampling and lab work eating 2K+ a day, still maintained my 239.
Making a change in workouts for the next 12 weeks. To help my son stay focus/lift , I'm starting Strong lift 5x5. Planning lifting 3d/wk and cardio on non-lift days, resting Saturdays. They have a cool app to track your workout, should be easier for him/me...Mike

I missed my Friday weigh in since we went out of town for the weekend and the hotel was one where you had to pay for internet usage.... not gonna happen! So I was at 204... still! Back home now and ready to hit the gym hard this week.

I'm still going strong, just forgot to post my update weight for this week.
Taking measurements tomorrow.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many people started this transformation journey?
Because in that updated document, there's only 21 people that are current as of this week, lol.
Talk about quite the number that have fallen out/given up, as there seems to be in everyone of these journeys.Only Those Who Risk Going Too Far Can Possibly Find Out How Far One Can Go

And I'm guessing we'll lose a few more between now and the end of the month too.
80-90% dropout rate. That seems to be pretty normal for these 3 month transformation threads.
Guess that makes it even more empowering for those of us that stick it out for the full duration then.Only Those Who Risk Going Too Far Can Possibly Find Out How Far One Can Go
