If they will be fishing you should be in the prime time for pinks. There is a small town on the Kenai called Hope and there is a little river/creek flowing through it. When we were there the pinks were in it like crazy and they are fairly easy to catch. Might be a nice little day trip but it will not be secluded.
The one thing I remember most about it was this little girl about four with her little Barbie pole. She would catch a fish and the reel was not strong enough to reel in the fish so she would just walk backwards to land the fish.
Man now you really have me wanting to go back.
Have a wonderful trip. It is a beautiful and amazing place.View my progress at http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=154724503

I over did it on food today but made up for it by doing 2 hours of cardio on top of walking some outside of the gym. I know im good from past experience calorie wise for today. Will I do that much cardio again? probably not.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Today's weight in was below the 77kg (also below 170lbs) mark Cut is going really well.
Funny is the diferrent types of comments I get, some say I am getting lean others say I am getting big lol. Just shows how fast my body is changing in the last weeks.
Since I started doing more weighted core exercises I noticed my core jump out, so now I got a block when I flex my abs. Really think it will help me when I get rid of the last pounds of fat to make the abs visible.Last edited by Wankelpt; 07-23-2014 at 02:50 AM.

You have to plan ahead. I'm back from two trips, covering a week and still dropped 2 lbs.. Breakfast was 6-8 egg and fruit, lunch was chicken or hamburger, no bun and large salad, no dressing, supper was steak 6-9oz and salad... Had my protein shake, between meals... During day 3, I was super hungry, ordered a burger, ate only the meat and hit the salad bar 2x...Waiter, ask if something wrong with the fries-burger...told her I couldn't eat fried food or the bread... She asked if I like broccoli, few minutes later, I was snacking on a plate full...

Two weeks back into my workouts and I am feeling great again. Amazing how much exercise makes a difference in my overall mood and health. Have a goal I am going away in January now and I want to have abs and obliques coming through.
Going to drop this in here for some motivation to anyone. I got discouraged going to the gym and found a fun path to exercise with calisthenics. The natural progression of all the techniques to harder ones makes your progress feel really nice.

Checking in on stuff here. First off, Normal Man great progress, the pictures show you have slimmed down a good amount. Just remember to have gotten really big took time also, you'll get down as you keep going.
Cap I love the gif you made, the best I can do is just photoshop a picture and use the copy/paste option lol.
Excel sheet looks great, glad to see all the losers on there haha. I'm pretty sure I posted a weigh in earlier last week, it must have gotten lost. It was at 240, I'm at 239 from when I last did it. If that can get updated would be great.
On a final note I will be starting a PSMF diet today. The main drive behind it is my wife wanting to lose some weight really quickly for an event coming up, so to make it easier on her I will be doing it with her. I had read about the diet before and the book, and while I didn't have plans on doing it, it had crossed my mind. So I figured why not.
The diet will be for 2 weeks for my wife, as for me, I have no clue how long I would take on the diet, all really depends how I feel as we go along. I will say all the pills we have now for the fish oil, vitamins and minerals makes me feel like a drug addict now lol. Wish us luck!"Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't."

It's been a bit slow in here!! I'll update! Had a great workout this morning (hamstrings & triceps) and I'm working from home today so made myself an awesome coffee-vanilla protein-peanut butter smoothie, which was amazing.
So far I've been losing on a deficit created by diet and lifting only, but I'm hoping to get a good cardio session in this week because my weight loss has been slowing a bit.*Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.*

Steady as she goes. I've been eating a little heavy this week - more of a maintenance thing. I'm pretty sure that I'll be riding the plateau this week. No worries. It'll probably do me some good before I start dropping again in August.
There, how's that?"It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." Friday weight in for me 170,2lbs, a loss of 0,9lbs. I am getting the impression the weightloss is stalling slowly, but I know that my diet has also not been on point as it used to be. But looking at the total weight lost and considering everything I am really amazed how well things are going so far.
@nottowway. Grats buddy. Way to go. sadly on spread.
