*** End of The Overreaching Phase Week 2 Day 5 ***
Thoughts of the Day:
Well I knew going into today that as much as I wanted a deadlift PR that it just wasnt gonna happen. My back is absolutely destroyed from the two sets of 405 this week, It took a lot of effort to just load the bar. The rest of my body is pretty beaten up but nowhere near how my lower back feels. Anyways Squat and Bench were both PR's and still pulled a 485 feeling like crap so I cant complain there. Probably could have gone 5 plates but that would have been it today.
So back in the green for all lifts now since the beginning of the log. Now to taper down and get some rest and recovery before the final max attempts in two weeks. They will definitely be interesting.
Oh and to also clarify that even if I had done deadlifts first today it just wouldnt have happened, Squats didnt take anything away from the Deadlifts today.

Looks like you had a Beast Mode day with all those PRs. The product quite possibly is working for you after all. Clear Muscle isn't something you feel so much. It would be interesting to try a condensed version of the 12 weeks with no Clear Muscle. Pretty much half each Phase. What preworkout do you take?

ITT the slightest green seen is interpreted as CM being the catalyst.
however, the total increase for EPC doesn't even match that of what was seen in the study...
i'm thinking MT should've asked for a 24 week log and have the participants run this for another 12 weeks w/o CM (with incentive of those seeing it through obviously) and i'm sure that would've been a better way to determine the validity of CM
but that's just my opinion...
regardless, EPC - nice to see you hitting PRs100% 中國人

There would have to be quite a bit of incentive and from a Company standpoint MT would be risking even more. Say I ran another 12 weeks without it and made even better gains it would show that CM doesnt work? Idk lol

Well I have to say im sorta new working out.
Started in November with 30% BF and 262 pounds at 5' 9"
Right now I am at 195 and around 17%.
I still have a long way to go but I have come a really long way.
I have tripled my BP since November and I have more the doubled my squat and deadlift.
When I started I could not do a single chin up. Now I can almost do them at will until I get board. I bet I could do over 100 if my life depended on it.
I said all that to say this.
My routine has been a very tough 3x per week full body workout that last over 2.5 hours.
Its very close to the Tampa routine except I would say my routine is even more tough then the Tampa routine.If I took on this workout I would feel like im on a vacation. I do everything in the Tampa routine and then some. I add in isolation exercises and all kinds of other stuff. When I get into the gym. I see at least 3 different groups of people come and go by the time im done.
I came up with this on my own.
Everyone has always told me what I do is stupid.
All I can say is my results have been spectacular in such a short period of time.
This log mqy be just as much of a testament that a very challenging full body overeach routine may be a lot more beneficial then most people believe.
Because this routine used in the study is basically what I have been doing since November on my own with great results.
I have also been taking CM for the last 8 weeks.
My progression in the last 8 weeks is not noticably better then before the last 8 weeks. My strength gains have been about the same the last 8 weeks as they were the 8 weeks before that but my DOMS have been less.
