As sad as it is to not see him step on stage, I trust that DJ confirmed some of our doubts about Ramy not being ready enough and made the right decision.
He'll obviously do and win one of the shows left, I'd like to see him Chicago or Tampa, where no one will actually interfere(not saying Ramy would lose, no way in a million years, just less chances of "ACBraziling") and most of the guys would have had their qualifications.
I'd rather wait a while and see an "on" Ramy than satisfy my envy of seeing step on stage pre-maturely with a less decent physique.

Unfortunately I am afraid this might happen. The innocent, childish part of me believes that the judges will redeem themselves and we will all skip into the sunset happy, but the realistic part thinks that guys like Morel and Delarosa are going to have an unfair advantage.
And as far as Ramy not making it, it was expected, unless he managed to pull off a miracle. He WILL be at the O which is all that matters and there was going to be no one at the NY Pro who was going to challenge him seriously, so he might as well win one of the smaller shows and qualify and then kick ass the the big show.

This^ is probably why Ramy pulled.
Beyeke
Delarosa
Morel
It was a tactical move waiting for the Toronto. Remember last time Ramy won the NY pro his closest competition was a 50% Victor. This time there's some guys who've brought some serious packages to their recent shows.
Ramy is a mega large dude but doesn't have the conditioning that Morel, Delarosa, or even possibly Beyeke does now. Wouldn't be a sure victory."There are no victims, only volunteers. You volunteer by looking uncertain and afraid. You volunteer by being, as grass-eaters invariably are, unprepared to confront the hazards of life." - Col. Jeff Cooper

Highly doubt that. He just wasn't in shape probably due to his illness. His NYP condition would win the show quite easily, dispiter what everyone else brought to the stage.
Even if Ramy doesn't truly peak, and assuming he is not totally off, these are the only guys who imo can beat him:
Phil Heath
Kai Greene
Dennis Wolf
Shawn Rhoden
Dexter Jackson
Roelly Winklaar
Ced

"(1) He hasn’t nailed that grainy conditioning we like to see in a bodybuilding champion yet; and (2) his upper chest could use a little more size"
Really, that is all they could gather on ramy's weaknesses? What about overall separation; back, hams and calves thickness; posing; maybe aim for a less funky shoulder look?...all these rank higher to me than upper chest.
