My fam always preferred from scratch, but because my cooking skills sucked up until the last couple years and just recently for pancakes, I prefer the complete mix. Aunt Jemima buttermilk mostly, sometimes that crappy Betty Crocker one when it's on sale. Do not like Bisquick. I haven't tried Hungry Jack of Krusteaz.
Personally the brand name Krusteaz reminds me of dried semen so I tend to avoid looking at the bags... Anyway, I usually add a teaspoon of white vinegar which reacts with the baking soda inside leading to fluffier pancakes. I usually ad a tablespoon or two of sugar with the batter. The key with any pancake mix or from scratch is to leave the tiny chunks that are 4 mm or smaller alone and not blended them in. They'll cook just fine, but your pancakes are super fluffy and soak up the butter and syrup.

TBH, these all in ones are very much the same recipes except hyper stabilized. You can make a very runny mixture and make faux crepes. You can make them thicker than the recipe calls for and they'll rice. Personally I want to make those giant German pancakes you slice up and serve with cream and jam. Klinschnitzewinsigheil something.

lol that's why I asked, not sure about prices. Not trying to build a gym either, just nice to have an open squat rack when needed. I'd have to be home, can't get in without my key card and code. I was thinking just $1 or $2 a session. If someone wants to use it 2x a week, that's $8/month or $16/month for just a squat rack. Maybe offer a scoop of whey for $1. Students don't have tons of money to throw around anyways.

I'd love a home gym whenever I buy a house for myself, which I hope is within the next 2-3 years. I'd probably get a power rack, a multi bench unit and a set of dumbbells. Oh and an adaptive motion trainer, though that costs like 8 grand. x_X

definitely wouldn't let other people in. camera, release waiver, whatever: nothing's going to help when someone drops a weight or hurts themselves. your apartment complex will say you're not allowed to run a business, you'll get sued, you won't have insurance, etc.
if you want to make a business of it, do it right, otherwise, enjoy your private workspace.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

I bought a new saw today. A dewalt double bevel sliding compound mitre saw.
I wanna build my deck waaaaaah
Landscaping might get done next week, probably won't be able to build the deck before the usual winter blizzards roll in in october or so. At least I can probably do my basement this winter

I can already tell that's going to be me when I start cutting... which hopefully won't be until around Feb, Mar, or maybe Apr.
I'll probably try and cut pretty aggressively... just so I'm not cutting for 6+ months... keeping it realistic and not doing anything stupid though obviously.
On another note, I hit 200x5 (squat) the other day. Previous PR was 195x4, and 215x1. I finally feel like I'm ready for 2 plates...
lol at going for deadlift PR the next day... no chance.

started at around 195-200, cut down to about 182. weight is always swaying like crazy
all lifts stayed the same and have actually been getting slightly stronger
