1) Commercial Nautilus A-frame tree -This is a commercial grade tree with holes to be bolted to the floor if needed.

2) Commercial 6 Prong weight tree with bar holders(holds 6 standard or olympic bars)- the picture in the listing is a stock photo, but mine looks just like that. it is one welded piece so its very very sturdy

3) Weight Dolly is a 6 prong weight tree with 2 bar holders(standard or olympic). This has wheels with brakes so can easily be moved aronud the gym. This weight tree can accommodate standard\olympic weights.

Bodymasters commercial flat bench - $160 (Livingston)
For Sale in great condition is a Bodymasters flat bench that has the incline\tilt option. Don't get this confused with a sit up bench or an adjustable bench. This is probably the best commercial flat bench there is.

Two-tone Royal Blue and Black with Black upholstery. Unit is 8' tall. Excellent condition with only signs of wear on chin/pull up handles. Upholstery is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or scuffs. Exercises include: Sit-ups, chin-ups, dips, pull-ups and vertical knee raises. Local pick up only. This unit easily assembles/disassembles into 7 pieces with two 3/4" wrenches and will fit into a pick-up or van.

Someone posted a rogue bar in my area for 150. Appears in good condition. My thoughts are I should jump on this deal rather than buy the Cap bar everyone recommends since they are about the same price. Am I thinking correctly? I have no other bars. Just been waiting to purchase a weight set.

That's the old Rogue bar, right? It's not a bad buy at $150. They don't make that bar anymore, but all the decent bars start at $250 (I'm excluding the beater bar and economy bar).

The Magnum racks were posted on CL about 2 weeks ago for $800. They've since dropped the price down to $600, so there may be some negotiating room. Looks like it would be about 2.5 hrs for me to drive 1 way to pick up the rack (5+ hrs round trip after loading it up, etc...). I already have a commercial Nautilus rack, with weight storage, and sabre safeties. I like the safeties on the Magnum better, plus I think the spacing on the safeties would be better than the Nautilus.

Good find, the new bars are made from a higher psi steel but the old ones got great reviews. At that price it is well worth it.

Both of those are way overpriced, probably could get the same setup brand new. The only thing that's not your dime a dozen starter equipment is the $500 set has a commercial grade york split sleeve barbell.

The $500 one is also not even an olympic width bench lol.

The Nautilus set there are several of that exact setup at any given time around here.

EDIT: Price on the Nautilus is fair, I checked and ones here go for about the same. I guess you're paying a lot extra for the lat pull and storage. THat bench is one of the better home benches and the fact it's not attached is a plus.

If you want a power rack (cage) then I wouldn't even wast my time with a bench / squat rack. Just remember the standard price of used plates is .50 / lb and craigslist or any PIAS should have plenty.

I see them on occasion for 100. A school two hours away was selling several well used ones for 50. Mine is a Hampton multi-hex I found on CL and I think I paid $125.

If you have Amazon Prime you're not gonna beat $94 TYD for the CAP one. It has dual handles which not all have. I wouldn't worry about quality of a trap bar like you would on your regular bar. The only one I could think of that is (one) step up is the one I have, the Hampton Multi-Hex. Hampton makes top notch regular bars. Their hex bar has built in jackstand pegs, and the quality of the knurling is actually too good (sharp) I actually keep my grips wrapped in grip tape.

Thats what I'm thinking to be honest. When my truck is fixed I'll call them up and see if we can make a deal. (I dont wana bother calling them if I can't even pick it up)

I'm getting my truck fixed tomorrow so if all goes according to plan this Saturday or Sunday hopefully ill be going for a little drive to pick up a nice power rack. They've been sitting there for 2 weeks so I'm hoping they'll sit for 3-4 more days. Also Stasher1, if you only had around a $350 budget what Bench would you go for?
Or should I really just wait?
