What's up aquaribrahs?
I've had aquariums since buying a 25 gal at a garage sale in 7th grade. At some point I had a 150 gal saltwater tank (fish only)... but I grew up and went out into the world.
Now in Europe rocking a simple 30 Liter nano tank with LED lighting, Eheim corner filter, auto-feeder, and some guppies. The tank is pretty self-sufficient nowadays. I had one big mass extinction of the guppies after introducing 3 new males. So now it's only 1 big/new male and one small female from my original stock. I'm using "bonsai soil" for substrate with a bit of crushed pumice on top.

i use to own these snails . they were about a quarter in size. they have the strongest scent sensing ever. food touches the water and they would climb to the top as fast as they could. they would wait at the water line and i could just drop a pellet as if they were trying to put there hands out. but its just that flat bottom that sticks out. those fookers would climb out the tank though. they leave the rainbow trail to were i would find a dry as corpse. they all died that way. like no tank was ever 100% sealed. interesting tank addition. rip snails

lol I have one of those 7ft by 8ft roll down bamboo screens outside of the fish room, blocks the window and most of the wall. It's pretty $$ currently don't have to run any heaters. Tanks sit at 78-81. Once summer is over the heaters will go back on.
My house is all skylights and every room has a 9ft French sliders. I've never really had alge issues but I probably do more maintenance then 90% of the people in the hobby.Dodgers!

As if there was ever any doubt I am back in the game. I have a 40 setup and instant cycled. Freshwater, I shall get an unveiling vid soon.
Stock as follows: 1 blood red parrot cichlid, 2 angelfish, 1 convict, 1 red tailed black shark, 7 tiger barbs, 4 yoyo loaches, 1 clown pleco, 2 remaining cory catfish that I had from my turtle tank (not replacing the cories when they go). LATER ON thinking of adding 3 siamese algae eaters and a panda garra (sp?).
Had 3 nerite snails but had to remove them because the yoyo's were trying to eat them by sucking them right out of their shells........
if anyone wants to point out any stocking issues they may see with my 40, go ahead but I won't care. I will likely tell you to go run down a steep hill with your hands in your pockets.
