very questionable draft and roles...do you guys think drafters who constantly get praised let it get to there head??? maybe some over confidence? i think that happened to Puppey...just questionable man.

Whenever PPD goes mirana, he gets absolutely zero farm and does nothing...ive always thought he was a better Enigma player than Zai, but i dont think PPD likes enigma. Zai is a better WK player, but they switch for some reason in games.

This. Universe plays lights out as void the game before, mason plays a good weaver then you pick mason on faceless and ppd on a mirana he can't play worth chit? then an alch rtz?

Game 3 vs. Newbee....VERY questionable first blood given up by PPD on his WK before the creep spawn.

Game 3 vs. Vici....less questionable but still questionable 30 second after creep spawn he goes for a late rune...SD already got the rune and was invis...gave up first blood>

VG best support duo in the world. FY and Fenrir are game winners.

PPD leaned too heavily on his enigma pick (like Puppey) and it got punished heavily by VG's aggro. It was a mistake to put Mason on Void as well, as I doubt he's 1/8th as good as Universe on the hero.

They put rtz on Alch because his other options (Razor, Viper, TA, OD) were either banned out or countered already. That midas purchase was really, really retarded though. He needed a blink or armlet to fight back. Too much faith in the Chrono/Hole/Timber wombo.


I never thought VG would play so decisively at TI. If you're not familiar with their story, ROTK/Super/Sylar were all booted from their teams after TI3 and built VG gaming up over the last year with FY and Fenrir, who lost at last year's qualifiers. They are easily the most aggressive team in DOTA 2 right now and, even though I think Newbee is 'better', they have a legit shot tomorrow. It's probably also the biggest redemption story in DOTA, with 3 players that got booted and 2 that failed to make the last TI.

the players are specifically told before the matches that they should NOT do a roshan lvl 1 or it is up to them, atleast theyve been told. Because yah...i dont know how soundproof everything is.

rtz put too much faith in the strength of their chrono/hole/chakram wombo to stall it out like in game 2.

The thing is, VG's advantage in game 3 was accumulated way faster from the Leshrac fast pushing and they were a lot more ahead.

EG banked on Enigma and it got punished. Enigma's a strong, strong hero but every hero in DOTA can be counterplayed. VG's supports just punished the crap out of EG for their solo support + hard carry void. It's not really much different from a pub game where teams get rolled because they had to 4v5 with an afk jungler Doom/Furion for the first 10 mins.

It felt like an EG draft to me. It just felt like Vici was like "Oh.... I guess you don't realize that we aren't just going to wait for RTZ to get big.... you know we can push right?"

Vici is the team during the tournament where if you look like you're weak, no matter what kind of lineup you're running, they'll just run you over. They don't seem to play remotely scared.

Yea EG tends to draft greedy and Vici made em pay big time. They only had a roaming Mirana who had to skill leap lvl 1 when he tried to avoid first blood. Enigma's jungle was warded and went to farm ancients.

Vici's 2 support roamers were really effective with the disruption-into-stun combo and quick kills transitioned into towers. The early 5-man death ball push is really strong.

Was kinda surprised when it wasn't Mason Mirana, Universe Void, Alchemist PPD, Arteezy Timbersaw/other hero considering it was a crucial game.
