Lady Miscers, my wife recently got back into working out regularly now that our youngest son is older and she's confident about leaving him in the gym daycare for an hour or so per day.
She has a few workout outfits she recycles, mostly Gap Fit and one Nike Dri-fit. For Mother's Day I was going to buy her a few new workout outfits and some other workout related things (her own shaker cups since she's always stealing mine, new sneakers, etc) and make a fitness-related basket.
What are your favorite workout outfits or brands? I casually brought up the topic of why most her stuff is Gap Fit and while she said she really likes them, it's mainly because she buys a lot of the boys' clothes from there so it's really more due to ease.
Thanks in advance (and measly reps) for answers and suggestions.

What a thoughtful gift! Brands I like for clothes are Nike, Adidas, Puma and Lululemon. For shoes: New Balance and Nike or Chuck Taylors (if she lifts). Fit2Run and Nordstrom have fashionable workout gear (but pricey). Victoria's Secret online might be worth checking out too - they have workout gear.
OXO makes a "two top" water bottle that is good. Microfiber hand towels are handy too.

I absolutely love this gift idea! I hope my SO stumbles across this post... maybe Ill leave it open on the laptop.. hehe...
I just got a shaker bottle with separate area for protein powder and supps. I LOVE IT and if you get a couple you can interchange the colours. They are neon colours and I just love them!!
smart shake (UK company... but google them. they are awesome)
Maybe a little shower set and flip flops if shes prone to washing up at the gym? Ah this is just too lovely

She is a lucky woman, I would say Nike 3" Shorts in black, then either black or coloured tops. Maybe a few G-Strings if she likes training in them, or cheeky cut underwear to show minimal lines in tights/shorts. Lorna Jane have some really comfy and bright coloured ones. A water bottle, maybe a headband depending on if she likes them or not, I personally do not. Maybe even a little diary or something where she can log her progress/workouts. If shes a busy mum she might not have time for that. ankle socks are a good idea as well, can never have too many I always manage to lose one somehow ha. If you got a couple of gym gear why not get a set of lacy lingerie for her to wear seeing as she is working out. Maybe the gym gear and then lingerie in a separate parcel with a rose could be cute Goodluck

I love Victoria's Secret workout wear. And their bras are very supportive which is a bonus.
Workout related: how about a six pack bag or similar. I couldn't live without mine.Bench press: current 65kg, goal 70kg
Squat: current 75kg, goal 90kg
Deadlift: current 100kg, goal 120kg
Natural Physique Assoc. (UK) figure 2014, 2nd place.
