who else lol'ed at her last words being "you know nothing, jon snow"
I typically don't like when shows devote a whole episode to a single plot line (even more so when its a tangent from the rest of the season, but this wasn't like that)...but I actually thought the ep was pretty good. For all my complaining about there being little battles/blood throughout the season, at least this ep delivered on that end. It was entertaining but it still didn't accomplish much; some characters died, and they held them off for a night...the battle is neither won nor lost as of now.

Was anyone else constantly waiting for Ghost to be let loose to wreak havoc on the Wildlings? I lol irl at John telling Sam that he needs his dog more than him.

Gilly is dirt.
There is something surprisingly attractive about Ygritte. Not typically a girl I'd be drawn to, but I agree with PhiSig.
Also, did not mind it being centered around the wall. It was action packed. Probably needed its own episode.
Also, seen a trailer for next week. Looks action packed again and the story lines open back up. it's around now that you begin to worry what the hell to do while waiting for season 5! I watch it on Monday nights, as that is when it's aired here, and I actually look forward to Mondays!Sports Science & Health Undergraduate

Agree about Ingrid; I've said the same thing (not sure if it was ITT though)
About next weeks ep...
Game of Thrones season 4 finale will be the 'finest hour' you have ever seen: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-en...n-9520532.html
"David Benioff and Dan Weiss are sure that “The Children” will surpass viewers’ high expectations when it airs next Monday as the tenth episode of an acclaimed fourth series.
“It’s the best finale we’ve ever done, bar none,” the pair said in a statement. “The performances from our cast, the direction from Alex Graves, the VFX work, the new cues from Ramin Djawadi – all of it came together in perhaps the finest hour we’ve produced.”
Benioff and Weiss added that they are so “immensely proud” of the finale that there are concerns no future episode will better it.
“We’re a little intimidated by the episode because now we have to get back to the business of season five and figure out a way to top it,” they continued."
They're showing the finale in some movie theatres around me, but I'm not sure if its worth going and risking chitty seats, people talking, etc.; or if its just better to watch in the privacy and convenience of my own home.
FYI:
But seriously guys...Khaleesi, on screen and off, hands down the prettiest.

I was surprised. I think it may have been the only episode where they did not flash over even once to one of the competing stories. Not even a bit about the mother of dragons, or about any of the other multiple stories going on.
I actually enjoyed the focus. I have always liked what was going on with the Imp; Arya Stark; Jon Snow and the Wall; and of course, "the Unburnt / Khaleesi/ Breaker of Chains/ Mother of Dragons

I just think that in this context, it was stupid..after how much of a response the last episode got..with the fight scene and the gruesome death of the viper. I just felt like going from THAT to an entire episode centered around a completely different storyline was annoying.
but oh well, still waiting for the finale.
