Ok so i saw the music video for a song i heard on the radio this morning
I really like this style of cinematography...it is quite indeed beautiful. The song vibrates well with the video and even without sound it feels as if you are watching a high quality modern yet artistic movie.
Hope to achieve a similiar style as this for some photos...quite beautiful."Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow"

Nikon Rumors posted an update to that saying it will be marketed as an "action" camera. That's what got my attention.
That could be interesting.
6 years on from when the D700 was released they've never really replaced it. The Df could have been that camera but they crippled it.
Granted the D810 can do 7fps with a loaded grip but that's not going to look as good as larger pixels at higher ISO. The D810 across its native ISO range once scaled down to 16mp (D4s) or 22mp (5Dmk3) compares very well (actually it's even better) but once you crop you lose that advantage. So a FF sensor with fewer pixels but 8-9fps is what I'm interested in. The D4s is tempting but if they released something for $2500 that is about 90% as good then that's even more tempting.
The D700 was a poor man's D3. Same sensor. Same AF system. 8fps with a D3 battery or AAs in the grip. Weather sealed. Pretty special in 2008. So good I bought two... and 6 years on I still have them.

Generous use of slide (which I don't have), plus stabilizer (which I do), and and also the Spike Lee move.

Now back to still photography
First, never say never. And second, I think I have a photo of that same/similar yacht (like there's only one of them) when it was here in south Florida. What do you think, five decks, exhaust ports?

My first panorama. Weather was hazy again, and I had no access to the sunset side of the mountain (like I thought I would have). There is a band of light vertically in the middle, and is probably from vignetting? The pano is approximately 78 gigs in size.
And another BW attempt.

Did you have everything set to manual? That's the only way you can ensure a consistent exposure across the frame of a pano. It's also a good idea to dial in white balance as well or if you leave it on auto be sure to apply the same white balance across all the images in post.
A polarizer can also create uneven skies when shooting with a wide angle lens or covering a wide field of view with a pano.
I'd lift the shadows in the center of the frame. The composition leads your eye there but the area is quite dark.

Would you give up your DSLR to go mirrorless misc?

Not that I completely agree with this, but mirrorless is catching up in quality.

I think it's an excellent camera. Since you haven't bought into a system yet (lenses, flashes, etc.) I'd also wait to see what Canon comes out with (7Dmk2).
Considering it'd be your first DSLR and how quickly camera bodies depreciate, it might be a better idea to start with an entry level body and sink the rest of your dough into lenses which you'll keep for several years.
I do, because it was pretty special for its time (mid-2008).
If Nikon dropped the D4s sensor into a D810 body and allowed it to shoot 1fps slower with a grip you'd see a lot of interest. Not everyone has $6500 to drop on a pro body, but $2500~? That's within reach of serious amateurs and enthusiasts.
Look at how excited Canon shooters were to finally get a 5D with pro AF with weather sealing that shoots 6fps. The D700 had the 51pt AF and weather sealing and 8fps... back in 2008.
D3s would be even better but it's a testament to how great the D700 was and continues to be that after 6 years they still haven't replaced it. Maybe a D710 is around the corner.

What are some creative agencies that specialise in photography/videography?
One of my goals is to run my own creative agency that is centred around videography, photography and art/graphic design but I'm struggling to find any for my inspiration.
I'm looking for ones that preferably focused around the entertainment industry rather than corporate.
Can anyone help me out?www.muscleprestige.com

^^is that baltimore bro?
Eitherway, it just feels too overexposed. Can you reduce it a small bit?"Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow"

Vmissle is right, a tad over exposed but it is probably my favorite shot of all the skateboarding photos you post, I'm not big into boarding so there is that, but this one seems to capture the environment and place with the skater just being a part of it. Im busy at work so I can't word it as well as I would like but this seems like a better snapshot of the world with a skater than the other ones, difference mainly seems to be the amount of color, and horizon with landscape this photo has, as compared to the others.
I am a moron for brand loyalty, and while I don't have Nikon gear, I have used their cameras before, I would prefer to stick with them, besides I am just now getting the hang of Nikon camera speak.
My brother is a camera junkie as well and also suggests an entry level DSLR like the D3300 or D5300 before moving on up, and investing more into the lenses as you say. And this makes sense to me, I will have access to a D80, would this camera work with modern lenses well enough that I could put even more into lenses, and upgrade the body in a year? Or is the D80 to old to work as well?
There is a huge appeal in the weather proof body of the enthusiasts DSLRs, I tend to be rough on equipment, the P510 has held up tremendously to my negligence. I am trying to find the difference between the D3300 and the D5300, I would appreciate any advice on one or the other.Rugby Crew

Here's a quick comparison.
I've never used either camera but what immediately stands out is the better autofocus system on the D5300. 39pt vs. 11pt. 9 cross-type points vs. 1. That's significant. Also has a flip-out LCD if that's important to you for macro work, etc.
re: D80, it has an old CCD sensor which doesn't perform as well at high ISO as modern CMOS sensors. If you're taking most of your photos in good light and shooting landscapes from a tripod then it won't be an issue.

Its more than just a tad overexposed. But that's alright because all of the important elements are still easily discernible. Even so, it could still be reduced depending on the quality of the source, but that's up to the taste of the photographer.
On the other hand, the OE can also provide a bit of individual creativity and/or stylization to the shot. It also captures the energy of the skateboarder aloft at just the right moment.but it is probably my favorite shot of all the skateboarding photos you post, I'm not big into boarding so there is that, but this one seems to capture the environment and place with the skater just being a part of it.🎥

This is my first post ever on BB...
What photo editting tools do you think work best for Mac? I was thinking Adobe or Aperature whatever it's called, but they seem to run upwards $100... Not a fan of iPhoto..
I just bought a camera about a year ago, need to learn how to use it properly other than "auto."
