I don't tend to play around with other titles, but I do play around with this novel approach where, when someone asks me what I do, I say something that I actually do. "I'm a personal trainer" isn't a verb statement; "I teach people how to get rid of unwanted body fat" is. As an added bonus, that verb statement also hurls an emotional benefit at anyone who, in fact, has body fat that they want to get rid of. It's no special title to boost my status or uniqueness or whatever, but it certainly gets people a bit more interested in potentially doing business right off the bat, even though I'm not strictly selling to them, than any PT-derivative does.
@Kyle: I cracked up.SQ 172.5kg. BP 105kg. DL 200kg. OHP 62.5kg @ 67.3kg
Greg Everett says: "You take someone who's totally sedentary and you can get 'em stronger by making them pick their nose vigorously for an hour a day."

I call myself a "Lifestyle Coach"
I work mostly with morbidly obese / pre-post bariatric clientele so it is much more and much deeper than just fitness and moving around. It is lifestyle changes, adaptations and mentality.Started at 350 pounds and 65% body fat

If you have a MS degree feel free to use exercise physiologist. Its not a regulated title but its usually reserved for those who have at least an MS degree. you could also title yourself "fitness consultant" or wellness consultant.
Don't use the word "expert" because none of us knows everything.
