Yes! I went to my first appointment this morning. The PT said I have a bunch of scar tissue on my right hip. Nothing I have not heard before. He did some grafting first which I have had done once before. When I mentioned how much it hurt before he said it actually isn't supposed to hurt. He said too many people go balls to the wall with it which is not how it is supposed to be done. After the grafting he started the dry needling. I think he hit two spots in the front of my hip. It didn't hurt other than to burn at times. The burn reminded me of when I had numbing stuff injected into my gums before dental work. It didn't last long and it wasn't intolerable. Even though the PT said the results would not be immediate I already feel like my right hip is more loose. He told me to do some lunges with my knee down afterwards to stretch and I did not feel a strong pull through my right hip down into my quad. Not sure what to make of this since I'm not supposed to notice anything yet. I have four more appointments scheduled but he says I should know if it will benefit in just 2 or 3 visits. He also asked that I take about 2 weeks off from all squatting and anything that requires me to bend at the hip like in a squat. I suppose I don't have anything to lose because I'm not making progress lately with all this pain. All in all I left satisfied for giving it a try. I don't feel like I wasted my money on "voodoo medicine" and I'm looking forward to my next appt tomorrrow. The PT seemed knowledgeable and apparently reads a lot to keep up with his field because he talked a lot about studies. I love when people do their research.
I still have not been contacted to schedule my MRI. I am going to call them tomorrow if I can remember to bring the info about the imaging facility to work.POWERLIFTING TRAINING JOURNAL

Oh, I'm still lifting. And still squatting. It's random and nowhere near as dedicated as I have been in the past. I'm insanely busy right now. I am nowhere near as strong as I have been. But the pain seems better since taking a few weeks off. I front squatted today with no pain, so that is really great.
Glad to hear the dry needling felt ok and didn't kill you.Squats and Maple syrup son. Squats and Maple syrup.

they might still be talleying things up ..
srs...although not meant to be funny....but funny.....
took a while to get all the charges for my surgery a while back. Once I got them, I am glad it took as long as it did. Otherwise, in my condition, I would have wound up back in the hospital from shock.I'm back.......kinda.....sort of....

I just looked at my claim online and it said claim =$12k.....amount you may owe =$12k. Talk about shock. I called and they said that was because my deductible was not met and that I only owed what goes towards my deductible. Shew! That will still suck but it won't be 12k.
The anesthesiologist hasn't put their claim in yet.POWERLIFTING TRAINING JOURNAL

My doctors did the same thing when I was in the hospital. I guess the coding system got changed this summer and it's really cumbersome, so a lot of billing and claims are getting done really late. It'll come, don't worry!!
Glad to hear the dry needling was not a flop. I can imagine at this point you're willing to try almost anything, voodoo or not, to get some relief.___________________________________________________________

Maybe it will work. I'm ready for something to work!
I'm afraid to see the bill! With my luck it will come at the end of the year like all the other bills....property taxes, HOA, flood insurance, etc. Why do these companies think people have any money left after Christmas
I'm definitely at a point where I'm willing to try something somewhat unorthodox. Something is bound to work....
Dry needling has legit research. My PT offered to print me some stuff on it but we keep forgetting. Once I get it I will post it here. Not only does research show that DN reduces trigger points it suggests that scar tissue can be reduced.POWERLIFTING TRAINING JOURNAL

Looks like you got it from here. He was hovering, but I'm pretty sure you locked out before he grabbed it.
