this. most abusers were abused at some point themselves. however that is not an excuse in any way, shape, or form, since many(most?) people who were abused do not abuse, and in fact often become anti-abuse advocates

Behavior is a choice. Attraction is either biological or conditioned early on in life(sexual trauma, etc). So imo could be nature or nurture.
