Good job OP. I would say 22%. Sometimes I think people come in too low. Try picking up an Ozeri scale. It's not perfect but you can somewhat track your BF%, water and muscle % that way. We are kindred spirits on our cut this year! #feelsgoodman

I HATE my chest!!! Its the one thing I have problems growing more than anything!! Might be because I don't lift for more than a few mos at a time though so hopefully I will keep this up and make some strides in the chest department!!

I'd say more like 20%.. back, thighs, etc.. play a role in BF%.. but either way, a % is just a number... get to where you want to be in the mirror and go by that.

Also, it's def. a journey.. when I was 220 I thought I would be cut at 180.. and even at 168 I still realized I had another 5-6 pounds until I would of been "where I wanted to be". People def. don't realize how much they could lose. I talked to a guy who was 5' "9 and about 275 pounds.. (very strong, built like a tree trunk) and he thought he would be cut up at 240 since he had so much muscle... when I told him he would have to hit around 210 or so, he laughed at me.

Yea I would agree about 20% which makes me wonder what I started at!! Yea im also not concerned about % just cut til I look the way I want. I have a feeling I will have to get down in the low 160's to be where I want to be. Thats's so skinny sounding to me but I will enjoy it for a month or two then slow bulk. Your cut looks like it was a success too man good job!!

My cuts are a semi-success I always say I want to get to low 160's and drop the last bit of back fat I carry, but I never do. I actually get really happy with my looks at 178, and by 170 I don't even feel like cutting anymore. I'm gonna go till May 1st then start to bulk for a year or so. Even if 160 was sustainable for me, I would never want to maintain for any reason.. no point in going to the gym and bustin ass just to look the same, I always have to change it up or I'm not happy. That and being in the 160's just seems too small to me too

Great progress man, but yes you always have to lose more weight than you thought. I was 194 on Feb 7th at the end of my bulk, and I'm down to 176 right now. I thought I'd only have to cut to 180 tops, and it's getting depressing knowing that I still have to go a bit lower. You don't realize just how much fat you can put on during a long slow bulk.

At 170 though, I'm definitely turning it back around even if I'm not chiseled. I've got to be around 11-12% right now, going to upload pics whenever I stop my cut. Probably another 4 week or so myself.

    Great progress in 3 months.

I always underestimate how much weight I need to lose also. I am heading to 170 from the high 190's and it is not going to be enough. I just will not go any lower this time around and I am going to go back onto a slow bulk because I need to.

This is what I was thinking...

But 500 cal / day is only 15,000 per month, which is about 4.25 pounds per month. But you reported losing considerably more than double that, so your workouts must have been stellar. So, great job!

Yea I cut 500 calories from my TDEE through diet but after workouts and cardio I'm sure I was in bigger deficit than 500 on some days... Just kept my
Protein high and all my lifts have stayed the same or gotten better so I believe I have minimal muscle loss
