Hi All!
I'm trying to make some changes to my diet in hopes of firing up some fat loss again....I've been at a bit of a plateau it seems. I'm 17% BF right now and would just like it dropped a bit lower. Should I move a majority of my carbs to pre/post workout? I currently haven't been consuming any carbs post workout, just a isolate protein shake. Any help/advice would be great!
Thanks in advance!

It's quite an inter-individual question. When dieting, I personally benefit from having some CHO + Protein pre-workout.

Lots of any heavy meal (particularly fat) would likely make you sleepy since it would pull blood from your body to digest it. So that's a function of digestion not just of carbohydrates. Still, I'd consume most of my carbohydrates during the active hours so they could be burned for energy rather than stored as fat.

It's unlikely to make any difference. Eat them when you prefer.
Weight loss is governed by energy balance. If you want to accelerate weight loss eat less or expend more.
And there are actually studies showing that eating carbs later in the day can have beneficial effects. Suggested reading: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/carb...boogeyman.html
Especially carbohydrates trigger a blood sugar and insulin response while fat doesn't. Adding fat to carbohydrates actually blunts the insulin response.

I guess they need to do more test. Or expand their test subjects because that's exactly what I've been doing to the detriment of my weight management.

As many responses as there are people here but, when cutting, what I've seen work best (with me & many i know) is no carbs pre workout (just protein & fats). I almost never not have carbs post workout..although i will go up & down depending on the phase (lower carbs post wo when cutting).
