Who has visible abs.

(For me) Getting and keeping abs required BY FAR the most dedication and work of any gym pursuit. Now I am not just talking about getting a 6 pack (and being small in stature). I mean, trying to build and keep an above average amount of mass and lifting 'heavy' weight as well. Again (for me) getting big and being strong was always 'easy'. Trying to do it in a lean state and stay there year round.....10 time the work and effort. TOTAL lifestyle change.

Totally agree. Over the last two years, I went from Fat to Skinny Fat, to Big but thick, and now attempting to get cut. Finally have a decent 4 pack, 10 more lbs and I hope to become a card carring Six packer.

I got nothin'! I'm skinny but still fat there at this point. I let things go for a long time, but am attempting to get things back in order. I thought I would start by getting rid of some fat, but I'm down 25 pounds now and still not close. Apparently I've lost what little muscle I had a few years ago. I think I would have to drop into the 150's to see a little definition there. Not necessarily interested in being that tiny. Lots of work ahead.

I'm a skinny old man so maybe it doesn't really count for me but yeah... been having visible abs. Intercostals are looking pretty good too. Now all I need is enough muscle so that people stop asking me if I do "lots of running and push ups"; neither of which I actually do.

I only wish that if i have those in the shadow, after workout out, some-times abs (like 'mirroroferised' said). BUT NOOO.

I think its mainly coz i have mentality of power lifter. I hate cardio and love lifting strong and heavy in 2-4 rep range.

But i am on my way on getting complete washboard-6pack in 2016 (according to my bodyspace projections).

39 and have them year round. Clean diet is the key! Hardly do ab exercises.

All 6 of mine are fairly visible, but the lower belt is still not as defined as I would like. It has taken a lot of hard work and proper diet.

The trick is lots of cheesecake and ice cream and never training abs.

At least that is what works for me. Oh yeah and being low body fat.

In the same way that bulking is eating at a small surplus, leaning out is eating at a small deficit, and the passage of time.

While visible abs do funny things to girls brains, I'm not sure there is anything of particular interest in having them unless it's as a measure of your goal leanness.
