Lately I’ve been eating 6 whole eggs each day. I normally eat them at lunch and dinner, the meal is rice, spinach, black beans, chicken and 3 eggs. Should I reduce them or should I eat only the egg whites? And in general when eggs become too much?

I've eaten 6-8 whole eggs plenty of days. I don't see it being an issue if it's not negatively affecting your daily total macronutrition. Some days I do 3 eggs on my ham egg and cheese in the a.m. and 5 whole eggs for an omelet in the p.m. Eat up!

Good question...I wouldn't expect much in the way of an answer. I think most studies have found that there are limitations to how many eggs one should consume but restrictions on daily diet isn't too popular in this forum. Unless someone has experimented with their own health for 30+ years eating large quantities of eggs it is really hard to dispute what the studies show.

The truth about statistics is that there will always be outliers and every case is different.
I wish current trends in nutritional research would stem away from statistics...but it may be the best we can do right now.
putting everything in a 95% confidence interval isn't alway great...because there is that 5% chance you may be out of it."Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow"

Your answer: we just don't know. In most studies, high egg intake is defined as 1-2 eggs/day. We have no idea what long term effects are.
Some studies show that diabetics might want to watch their egg intake. This is not the case for healthy subjects (at 1-2 eggs/day, at least).MY SITES
