After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Finally popped my powerlifting cherry with a USAPL meet in Boston yesterday. I ended up going 7/9 with a 487.5 (1075) total at 87.2. I got red lighted on two lifts. My first red light was on my third squat attempt, the side judges said I didn't fully lock out my knees. I honestly never even looked at the lights, I knew I hit it deep and the emcee called it good, then I was walking off the platform and he said they red lighted it. It felt locked out and I got the rack command, so I thought I was good. One of the other lifters told me they said I didn't lock out my knees, but I was so taken by surprise I didn't even ask the side judge. My other red light was on my first deadlift attempt. I came up a little too quick and lost my balance a little bit. I still locked it out no problem, but when my balance shifted forward, the bar dropped a little bit, so I knew I was getting red lighted. I repeated the weight for my second attempt and just slowed it down a little bit to make sure I got a good lift in.

da fuq? why would you ruin it for yourself like that brah? the greatest part about GoT is how phukin unpredictable it is with character deaths / political twists / spontaneous development. the real horror of that ending was in knowing their pasts and what the emotional investment was for the characters. start watching it now stop spoiling it for yourself mane SRS.

Now now....
I blew out my right knee and was able to deadlift a looooooot faster than I could squat. He stiff legged the sh*t out of that pull. I can see it with the fact that he did not really bend his knees much and they certainly didn't travel far forward. With no shear stress on the quad tendon/patella, I can believe.
Also....I blew my knee out playing basketball and (after being rather highly competitive in it) I haven't played since. Mad props to anyone who gets on that platform again after a fall like that.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Lilly commented about the deadlift
"I can press away, think leg press, Deadlift, or squat reversal with very little issue. Receiving the weight in a squat (lowering it) is where I struggle. I could probably stand up with 300-400 lbs but lowering that would crush me right now."
