The boards approach, and so my studying begins. It shall not end until STEP 1. I shall take no wife, bang no bish (not that this was happening anyways), and father no children. I shall play no computer games and gain no MMR (in LoL). I shall live and die by Pathoma. For I am the man who reads First Aid (over and over). I am the guy who has done thousands upon thousands of QBank questions. I am the bottom quartile student that shall now gain ascendance over his heretofore unchallenged enemies. I am the avatar of Goljan himself. I pledge my life to straight up raping the USMLE, for this day and all the days to come.

brahs isn't this wrong? this was in one of our lecs and i've been racking my brains but I'm so sure it's wrong.
I thought the optic chiasm was like the right gets the right temporal and left nasal and left gets left temporal and right nasal i.e the temporals stay on the same side and nasals cross over.
So wouldn't a cut as shown in the pic cause only the nasal sides to be cut and so the temporal vision should remain intact no? So why's the pic at the top right showing the nasal sides intact...
Edit: had to delete the ****ing pic cause i remember our prof said it was copyright lmaoLast edited by dekg1400; 12-25-2014 at 06:41 PM.

Anything you do this far out is going to be low yield and without direction anyways
If you really want to be that guy, then get on some clinical projects or shadow some docs. But lettuce be real tea, you should just be relaxing and enjoying lifeautrefois crew

hahahah sorry
i'm a 4th year med student; applied to anesthesia - both advanced and categorical programs. ended up liking a few advanced programs but i didn't apply to many prelim/ TRI / TY programs so i pretty much will be stuck with picking one up in the scramble. i don't mind doing a surgical prelim year - i think itll prepare me well for residency. i do want an intern year that offers reasonable OR exposure, although apparently i'm asking for a lot. been looking for a list of programs that don't fill in the match but i guess it doesn't exist?Last edited by DcupBrah; 12-26-2014 at 11:48 AM.

SDN has a super active anesthesiology forum, that's just one thread I pulled up quickly on the topic - I'm sure there are many more. I've heard pretty much universally negative things about surgery prelim, but I'd do that and take it in the butt from Shane diesel every night that year before id go unmatched. I'm pretty sure a list of programs participating in soap becomes available after match
