Self control may be hard with WoW, but I found out that as I got older, I was able to stick to my priorities more. When I first started WoW in 2005, zero fcuks were given. It'll be fun, but I'm sure it won't be as addicted as when you first played. But then again, if you really think you can't control yourself then I'd stay out of it lol. But, if you decide you wanna chill with some misc brahs in game, then do it *******

Yea. that gives us around ~ 7 months to get some raid experience for new brahs, and get people geared up for new content. If we can work together now and get organized as a guild, it'll be even funner when WoD content is out.

Yep. The character boost can get your lvl 70 warlock to 90 without grinding. It will also get your lvl 70's two primary profession maxed out. So ie; tailoring/enchanting.

Or you can re-roll a lvl 1 and get it to lvl 90 as well. But lvl 1's don't qualify for the profession maxing.

Pretty sure you get 1 free boost with a pre-order of WoD. I think you can buy more boosts from Blizz. I think you can either boost a character from lvl1 to 90, or you can boost a character you've already got somewhat leveled to 90. I think you get additional perks if you boost a character that's already leveled, like professions ect.

Wasn't planning on playing until closer to WoD release but you bro's have me tempted to resub when I get back from training for my new job next month.

One question I had though...Isnt there a que during peak times on Blackrock? I seem to remember trying to make an alt there and there was an insane que.

It costs $60 to buy a character boost in Battle.net shop (expensive imo.. but some people don't have time to live that 1-90 grind nomsaiyan).

But if you pre-order WoD expansion, you can use a free character boost right away. Basically 1 free character boost is included when you buy WoD. So if buy WoD now, or when it comes out, you're allowed 1 character boost. Pre-ordering it now just allows you to boost your lvl 90 immediately and not having to wait to buy it when it release.

Nope no queues in Blackrock as far as I know. I've never came upon a queue. I played back in 2011, quit for 3 years, now I'm back. Haven't seen a queue since.

I re-subbed while I was drunk last night. Would kinda like to start playing again but idk what to do before WOD comes out. Don't really see the point in gearing my characters or getting ass raped in BG's. Any ideas??

As far as what to do... I've been doing flex raids to get my hunter geared. It's WoW man, theres literally always something to do... Play the AH for CEO 100k/gold a day, raid, arena, BGs, quest, etc.. What are you into? Roleplaying? lol

The last month or two when I was bored I just did rated BG's thru OQueue to get the 50 win mount ( sickest mount in game IMO ) and I soloed all the old content for the transmog sets and mounts I wanted. You can pretty much solo anything thru WOTLK 10 mans....I was doing Ulduar, Naxx, ect If you like PvP you can grind out blood coins by ganking people on timeless isle, you can do the brawlers guild for mount/title, farm gold, ect... Theres a lot of little things you can do if you just want to waste some time.

I'm trying to think of names for the guild. I gotta pay $20 usd to rename the guild. It's a lvl 25 guild that I bought from someone and it has a ghey name. Any ideas for guild names? This is our first decision together as a misc guild brahs, any inputs are welcomed. So far I got:

I re-sub every 6 months or so for a month or two then quit again. I'm going to re-sub in WoD. Dude is pretty beast, Got Warlord, and the tier 3, with a few gladiator titles. If the guild is big I'll xfer over. Already horde.

Yeah I'm US. At least the leveling will be better then when classic released they didn't make enough quests past level 50 so people grinded mobs to level up to 60 and Silithus was completely empty and Azshara was terribly done.

Anyone remember the original rogue detect traps ability with the Swirly Ball animation that people spammed all the time before they moved it? I died a little inside when they removed it. And Will of the forsaken broke fear/poly and were immune from it for 20 seconds lol. All while being absurdly overpowered even after constant nerfs later in vanilla. Undead rogue was the ganking jackpot, feelsgoodman.

Does anyone know which realms are connected to Blackrock? I know Mal'Ganis is. So that means Mal'Ganis brahs can raid with us, but can't trade or be in guild..

also I can confirm, I am being carried in flex raids for phat lewts.

I think you're thinking of something other than a connected realm. Battlegroups are connected to pull people for BG's and Arena, Mal'Ganis may be in Blackrock's battlegroup but they aren't connected realms. Connected realms are where they group up 3 or 4 low pop servers so they can share an AH, join the same guild ect, Mal'Ganis and Blackrock definitely don't do this.

If brah's are on different servers you can invite people to a group and raid/quest together no matter what server you're on if you're on each others friends list. This would be ok for a bit if people are hesitant to transfer before WoD but it wouldn't be good for a steady raid group...you'd want everyone on the same server and in guild.
